Finally said goodbye to my custom racing slicks (14k mile Eagle F1 SuperCar G:2) and got my MPSS installed today. The next 30k miles are going to be fun.
...says the guy who didn't RSVP. Ha ha.
We picked up a few on Facebook, too (currently 12 interested and 6 going, including a few duplicates from here). Looks like we'll probably be about eight cars or so.
I called the service advisor ahead of time, referenced the TSB, gave him the part number for the new unit (even though it's listed in the TSB; I don't have patience for other peoples' ineptitude), and asked him to order the parts before I dropped off the car. He called me when they arrived, and...
I sold my Genesis Coupe to Carmax and got about $500 more than I expected going in. The process was quick and painless, and not having to deal with the risks of selling privately was well worth the hour of my time. Just know what the value is going into the deal (it sounds like you've already...
One of my buddies T-S550-X just got his done. Pics are in several other threads. Link below.

August 2016 Meeting Details:
Saturday, August 20, 2016 @ 11:00 am
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews
1701 William D Tate Ave
Grapevine, TX 76051
Monthly mustang6g.com DFW S550 meet. We meet on the third Saturday each month for lunch and car talk. We use this time to discuss upcoming...
I've arranged a local day cruise for the DFW M6G crew. This should be a moderate speed cruise with light traffic.
We'll officially start at the RaceTrac in Cleburne for everyone to fill up (this station offers E85 for those who need it) before cruising into Glen Rose for lunch at Loco Coyote...
So it turns out Sunday works better for me, so we'll do Sunday. It looks like there will only be four of us, give or take a couple cars.
I'll post up an event shortly.
Alright Alton, knock it off! We all know your car looks amazing and your photography skills are awesome. There's no need to boast!
(I'm only kidding; keep posting the drool-worthy pics :D)
A few of the members have shown interest in moving our monthly lunch meeting to a different location. There are a few locations in the Grapevine/Southlake area that work for larger groups. Please sound off to let us know where you'd like to meet. You may select multiple options.
Option 1: Red...
It's time to finalize the details for our next day trip. I have planned a local cruise route that runs from Cleburne to Lake Worth via FM 4. The route details can be found here. My plan is to meet for lunch in Glen Rose around 11:30 and then cruise the route, which should take about four hours...
I finally admitted defeat with my custom racing slicks...I mean my 14,000 mile SuperCar G:2 tires. I ordered a set of 285/35R20 MPSS for all four corners. I should have asked for lube first.
I sent DeVivo a message on FB to warn them that we're coming. I'll call them in the morning, too.
I'll be at C&C, but I'm not gonna make any extra effort to get there early.
I'm good with wherever. I have NOT called DeVivo to plan ahead for the group (I told them last month I would give them a couple weeks' notice, so I will feel a little crappy for not keeping my word).
Anyone know of a place in the Grapevine/Southlake area with a covered patio? It's too freaking...
I propose we meet for lunch in Glen Rose after Cowtown Cars & Coffee and then cruise some local roads. Map link here.
Anyone else down for this in lieu of the DeVivo lunch?
