Monthly mustang6g.com DFW S550 meet. We meet on the third Saturday each month for lunch and car talk. We use this time to discuss...
I don't recall seeing any painted grills on the S550 yet. I'm interested to see how it turns out. I like the idea of the two-tone color. I don't envy you for the sanding job, though.
I travel quite a bit, too, and my company has a rental car contract with Avis/Budget. Every single airport I've been to this year has SEAS of Mustangs on both Avis and Budget lots...mostly Ecoboosts, coupes and convertibles, quite a few premiums, and even a few GT premiums. All automatic...
FWIW, Google has this same image tagged as being taken in both April 2015 and April 2016 (so obviously there's a date error somewhere). For comparison, the same image from 2011 indicates a concrete parking surface - likely before being resurfaced with tar some time before 2015. Notice the faint...
I'm preserving an 11-year old Sonata in the garage while my Mustang is gaining about 1,000 miles a month. It's such a blast to drive, I have a hard time keeping myself out of it.
Where did you find a 7/8 scale Mustang? :D
Today I wished I were driving my Mustang...exactly the same wish I've had for the past fifteen days! This rain just won't quit. It's supposed to finally dry out Wednesday...just in time to rain again Friday, Saturday and Sunday. FML.
Current weather forecast shows rain again next weekend. I'm in for meet/lunch/shenanigans if the rain moves off. My poor car hasn't been touched in two full weeks now. I'm really starting to miss her!
Glad there was a decent turnout. I decided to be lazy and stay home. Plus I think the Sonata...
I'm feeling your pain. My last day driving Kitana was August 7th, and we've still got several more days of stormy weather here. I forgot just how mundane my 11 year old Sonata really is. I'm Jonesing with ya both!
Saw your post on FB earlier, but the pics show up much nicer here. I like the unique look you have there.
You should come to some of our meets. We meet on the third Saturday of each month in Grapevine/Southlake for lunch and car talk. Our next meet is this Saturday (weather permitting) at Red...
Dammit, Chris. Knock it off! Seriously, though, I can't stop staring at these wheels every time you post them up.
Weather permitting, we are meeting at the Red Robin in Grapevine Saturday at 11:00.
Agreed, Loco Coyote was awesome...although it's probably even better on a cooler day.
Great times with great friends today. Can't wait to do it again. We'll do Austin next time, but probably in the fall.
Somehow I completely missed the location and time for the meet. I updated the event post to include the address and time.
See you all tomorrow morning.
I've never spent this kind of money on tires, but I've never driven this type of performance car before either. I shopped around for these tires, and the best I price I could get anywhere else was $330 a tire.
Costco would have been $1,489 including warranty, installation and tax, but they will...
Appreciable is a subjective term in this case. My OEM seat backs got HOT while the seat coolers were activated. After the TSB, they don't get hot anymore...but they still don't cool the seat worth a damn.
The OP's DIY solution with an air intake tube and a vent cut into the seat back seems to...
