- Mfr of the aftermarket headlight instructions say?
- Mfr of the aftermarket headlight says what when you ask them about your issue?
^besides posting insufficient information, you should start here.
No.
Besides the antenna issue, the contour of the vert lid is different than coupe.
Same reason why a GT350 track pack spoiler won’t fit verts. However, there is a mfr that does make them specifically for verts.
Did you really need to replace your OEM antenna with a stub when you installed the GT350 track pack spoiler?
I’ve read several places where guys stated that the GT spoiler passed by the OEM antenna.
Facts:
1) trunk lid profile of coupe is different than vertical.
2) even if it did fit, it would hit antenna when opened the trunk lid.
3) then ask yourself, would Ford design/produce a spoiler for number PP1 verts built?
^This!
- 3M Adhesion Promoter is a must use. Period.
- I used 3M Adhesion Promoter on the Roush 1/4 scoops and Hood Heat Extractors. Amazing product.
- As far as removal, it can be done very simply with time, patience, and fishing line.
Nice vert!
Mind if I ask a couple questions?
1) does your rear spoiler hit the antenna when you open your trunk?
2) is it mounted to the trunk with bolts?
3) what brand is it?
IMHO, if you fully disclose what you’ve found/fixed on that car, you may have a challenge selling it without taking a big hit.
Like, “What’s gonna go wrong next?”
I personally wouldn’t buy it. I think what you’ve done is admirable. However, instead of fixing it, I woulda taken legal action...
