Combination of some business realities and common sense. Lincoln needs a competitive luxury sports coupe the likes of the Caddy CTS-V coupe. It needs it badly. That's the common sense part. The business reality is that platform sharing is the way forward and the S550 is the most obvious choice.

This is gonna be tricky. I think it's a sure bet based on past anniversary models that the fenders will wear the 50th badges and implement the pony in some way. If the grille and decklid also have the pony that's just overkill.

Yea looks exactly like something from the 80's...... Sure it does. It's really not that different than the current rear end. The biggest change are the lights. The deck lid, panel and bumper are very similar.

So you think they're just gonna have the car at Dearborn while 5 other cities pack their venues with media and everyone watches a big screen of Dearborn unveiling it.... Something they could've done in their pajamas at home. Does that make really sense to you?

Some good ideas here but no one from Spain or China ? I guess not many current owners in those places.... I am a little surprised they didn't choose anything down south. Lots of Mustang owners in TX etc from what I know.

I don't know how I feel about 2 pony emblems on both ends of the car. What if we at least blackened the rear pony to make it look different?
