I just realized that I have the same problem, a visible difference. Since I was planning polyurethane bushings anyway, I am relatively calm, plus now I have justification in case my wife wonders why do we need to spend more money on the mustang :) win-win :)

Or you can use a small pick and peeled the metal top that holds on the plastic body of the hubcap by double side tape and then just pull the plastic out with your finger.

What I meant by purists is a group of folks who keep their cars in the original condition. Wether I agree or not I am not going to bash them. And I would expect the very same curtesy from them. From where I stand, Mustangs are like empty canvas, open to personal touch.

Because of the group of purists we have collector items. I would respect that as much as I respect tasteful personal touch-ups/mods.

I torqued mine to 150 as well. Regarding the tpms , computer should be able to recalibrate them in approximately 20 minutes.
