Ok, I have the answer to the question. The day that the order for my car was accepted by Ford, the heavens parted and the angels sang. They blessed this beautiful red beast with an additional 1 MPG combined.
I ordered from the dealership on 10 June and Ford accepted the order on 10 July. The dealership gave me the VIN on the 14 Of July and the car had a BLEND date of 21 July.
If you want to sit in the dark and listen to the radio, turn the car off and hit the radio on button. It will operate the radio but be aware it will drain the battery but no to bad. I do it all the time, I just recondition the battery every couple of months. As for the signature lighting (DRLS)...
