I used an impact wrench and one of my tips is still almost half an inch below the other, gonna have to take it all apart again next weekend. Definitely need somebody holding the muffler at the right height when tightening the clamps.
:headbonk::headbonk: Had them bent the right way but had the "half circle" spacer in the wrong place. So nothing was getting tightened, was just spinning the bolts. Was running out of daylight yesterday otherwise would have noticed. Sounds great!
Yep the ford racing pipe, I think the clamps are right, its the right part number on it from the instructions. Don't have the box right now. The two pipes were flush against each other but no matter how much i tightened the bolts, the whole clamp was sliding around. Its flush against the metal...
Anybody who installed the x-pipe themselves had any trouble with the tru seal clamps? I tighten them all the way but they re still very loose, will surely come off first time I hit a bump. Can't use the car until I figure this out. :(
the PENS clip on the inside of the center console lid, and the little hole under the fuel spout that catches any drips of gas from the nozzle. :D Little things like that really improve the overall owner experience.
Looks terrible, but Im sure there ll be plenty of takers. I think Ford hit the right note with the current GT grille. The off-center pony worked on the s197 but theres something really off about it on the s550.
Cj doesn't seem to have the best prices, at least for the items that I have looked at. But I trust them more and they ship much quicker. Im sure with a forum discount their price ll get close to what you ll pay somewhere else.
Same mufflers as the S-type right? Looking forward to a more in-depth video so I can finally make my decision. Right now im choosing between this one, the FRPP Touring or just the FRPP X-pipe for now.
What would be louder/make more sense to do. I want to do the FRPP x-pipe first and then add the axle back later if I feel like I need more sound. But the full cat back might make sense all at once.
My question is what would be the difference in sound/flow between using:
Full FRPP Touring...
