I tried that, its either the defroster line or half the view is the rear deck. The kit comes with another piece of double-sided tape so I ll just re-stick it.
Did this install on Saturday. Pretty straightforward but as the OP mentioned the ground was a nightmare, Ford couldn't have put the bolt further in there if they tried.

Finally took her in 2 weeks ago since the service manager obviously did not remember to call me when they got the profile. Turns out I wasn't crazy and the toe was off by a bit. Fixed under warranty, just wish it didn't take 3 visits to the dealer to get it done. Thanks everyone for your replies.
Im trying to make this decision now as well. I like all the bells and whistles of the Max2 but the V1 is cheaper and a better performer especially in terms of range and Laser detection. From what I'm hearing laser detection is useless on the Max2.
Does anybody know the size of the nuts that are on the clamps that go on between the cats and the resonator. :shrug: Lost one during installation and had to stick on something from the toolbox, but my slight ocd isn't letting me just leave it like that :)
Got a really nice chip on my windshield, at 1700 miles. Thank god for Safelite, you can barely see that its there now, just looks like discoloration the size of 2-3 penheads.
A friend of mine has an EB 15, the engine bay doesn't get nearly as hot as it does on the GT. There is a reason ford didnt put hood extractors on anything but the GT.
