Yea as a Czech living in the US, watching some people flail in them here is sketchy. Nobody uses indicators on exit either. I always feel like the foreign weirdo doing that.
But especially around me here in rural-ish OH, there's so many 4-way stops with plenty of room that are just ripe for a...
Right, the auto brights off/on work actually decent, wife has them in her F150 (my Bullitt doesn't have it, they decided to strip features before hiking the price on them).
For the most part (though I don't turn it on often) they work fairly well. Have virtually never driven by someone with them...
I feel....violated. I might need to go take a shower.
I can't see anything, cause I live in OH and it's apparently well accepted to have brights on 24/7 regardless of oncoming traffic. My left arm got tired flashing back so many id1ots. :curse:
Ok rant over.
Ad 1 - yea, I need that fix too. Someone posted it in this thread a few posts up. Wonder how much a Ford dealer would charge me for this (probably some bulls*it diagnostic fee of $250 to do this). Didn't know it was a thing and I'm out of warranty. :(
Ad 2 - How often does one need to do this...
Ad 5 - aren't the toggle switches only working towards up as lot of people use the tray underneath as a phone holder? I certainly do. And if you throw your phone down there, you don't want it to turn on hazards or turn off traction control if your phone accidentally hits these.
I'm pretty sure that's what "headlight delay" is for... I think there's like 10, 20, 30 sec, 1min delay options to choose. I.e. it's gotta be in those conditions (such as dark or gloomy) for that period of time before the lights turn on.
The one thing that does bother me tho is when it's light...
Hm, I do worry about that a bit on wife's F150 tho, it's the 3.5 ecoboost plus we are now fighting it running a bit hot. Altho there's lot more room under the hood of the truck I guess.
I had a feeling that acronym might not be as widely known, but didn't want to make assumption. After all that makes an a*s out of you and ....mumptions? :giggle:
Also, Costco got some good rates from Interstate Batteries on AGM. I've seen $50-100 less for the comparable prices, I think that's...
Lot of manufacturers do their unique touches/branding via headlights or the "signature lightining" that doubles as DRLs.
Audi was one of the first with the LEDs as DRLs, they used to have the wave and various forms. BMWs used to have halo/circle.
Lexus still has the "checkmark." Mustang has the...
Green is basically one of my main rotations as it looks so good. Also awesome with combo with the stock purple, or I would recommend making your custom pink or dark navy/blue. Looks REALLY good especially as the ambient light for the floor and also as the main color for behind the center-stack...
Right. I do still pride myself on being able to recognize cars by headlights and taillights (well, "pride" carrying some heavy weight, not sure if it's something to be proud of)...
It's getting harder for sure, but mainly in SUVs. Somehow pickups are still unique-ish to an extent and sedans for...
Are we obligated to reply with "ok boomer" since you outed yourself? :giggle:
Yea, design is very subjective, but it seems someone tries it and then every manufacturer copies them. Some SUVs are impossible to distinguish anymore.
Was my experience with the 2018 Accord. Great to have a manual, but it was a FWD wheel-hoppy car, albeit very peppy and eager engine. Just made me want even MOAH POWAH
I have the trunk struts that pop the trunk up completely. Which I love.
But imagine mounting a mirror on the inside of your trunk lid, disabling the speed lock for the trunk popper and pop the trunk with the mirror at the people that don't turn off their brights behind you?
My...
Was thinking the same thing. I'm guessing he was implying you can get a GT PP1 with A10, and the PP1 is what lot of the Bullitt bits is based on / built on.
But then you gotta look at the WRX design when you walk up to it? :giggle:
