The engine is warm. That's why I've been freaked out.
I try not to buy into the hype but it's hard to ignore when even new off the lot 2020s are detonating.
Yeah, I'm not liking this already. I tried to see if it's a G1/2 engine, but there was no sticker on the coil cover.
It drives fantastically otherwise, but I'd be bullshit if I had a legitimate issue.
So I recently purchased a 2017 GT350 about 3 weeks ago. Absolutely love the car and beat on it daily.
When I first bought it, I noticed a knocking sound through the right side of my exhaust at idle. No codes and no rough surging either. The sound goes away under WOT as well. Oil temp is good...
I detailed the car in and out for the first time. Then drove it around for 100mi. The brake dust is absolutely insane. I'm thinking of grabbing some MRR 600s for the open design and ease of cleaning.
Love the color. And congrats! It's been a week with mine and it's the first car where I don't use the radio and waste gas like it's nothing.
Enjoy it daily!
Yeah I check last night and again this AM and I'm topped up (slightly under the first circle).
I wanted to have some handy before I start taking this thing into the mountains. Though, I did burn through an entire tank of gas yesterday screwing around lol.
Hey these are still available. Send me a PM if interested.
Regarding the drone, it's really not that bad. I'd get a little bit around 4/5th gear or at 60mph but it's not like a Flowmaster.
And with the H Pipe, it sounded awesome. On WOT, it was plenty loud but tame when just driving around...
I ran over to both auto zone and advanced auto. The highest they carried was 5w30.
I'm on Rock Auto now. Even with a couple of extra qts for topping up, they have the best deal that I could find.
I made a trip out to auto zone and advanced auto and neither location has any Motorcraft, Amsoil or Royal Purple oil in stock.
So outside of online dealers, who do you guys go to for oil? I want to grab some extra qts in case I need to top up.
