that's crazy, i've never heard of mods being not street legal. back in the day (modified Nova SRi FTW) if they were not street legal they usually clearly state it. I/e pedal sets, taillights that got rid of the ugly foglight, neon glow under the car :shrug: etc. they would always clearly say...

lots of food for thought here. it is true I am quite happy with the handling of the car as it is on 19s so 20s would purely be for the 'bling'. i think it's just cos pretty much all the american ones in the wheels & tyres sections are on 20s and look the nuts, so it feels like putting 19s on...

I'm getting new wheels and still undecided on 19s or 20s. Of course budget will come into it so wanting to know how much i'd be able to get for my current wheels, both with (if i go 20s) or without tyres. How much is a fair price for a set of silver Custom pack alloys? 1 with small curbing...

fair question. cos i was impatient and bought an ex-demo car, which already had the full custom pack. wasn't a deal-breaker for me and I didn't have to wait 9-12 months for a car which would have been the alternative :clap2:

whilst I agree the my17 looks marginally 'better' than the my18, i think ghastly is a bit of an exaggeration. if the my17 didn't exist, then the my18 is still a fine looking car (imo) :headbang:
