I don't mind waiting for the car. My biggest fear is getting screwed out of the deal I have in place. I won't truly trust the deal I have until the papers are signed, keys are in my hand and my rear end is in the seat of the car I ordered as I drive away in it.

I went back and looked at the list. It looks like my car and one other built the same week will be the first CFTP cars built this year. Production of cars seems to be moving quicker and Penske shouldn't be backed up with lots of GT 500s to paint stripes on.

I just went from a scheduled build week of March 16th to a scheduled build day of March 16th! I will be glad to see the baby's dance for me soon! How long is it taking for CFTP cars with POTTS to go from build day to delivery on average? I have to go to Japan at the end of May.....

I live in southern California. Most of the GT 500s around here are going for $30k to $50K over sticker. I have a Golden Ticket Car on order at $15K over sticker and will have to travel half way across the country to get it but it was the best deal that I could find.

Does anyone know the average time it takes between the car being produced, go to Penske and get the stripes painted on then be returned to Ford then to be shipped out?
