Very nice. Saw the video of your car arriving at Koons on youtube. In case you didn't know there was one and wanted to see it. I remember thinking "that car must be sold" because the salesman never tried to sell it. He was just excited it was there.

I just picked up a GT500 today and never ever could have imagined this would happen. Incredible to say the least I now own what I feel is the nicest American Muscle Pony Car ever in my life time. And this truly all happened by mistake and yes even I am blown away I stumbled onto this first delivery GT500 to the dealer. No other GT has been delivered so far and even I didn’t realize this until I had completed the purchase. I traded in my Jeep Wrangler this past weekend for a Explorer ST and drive back to the dealership on Monday to order some accessories. And just when I arrived the salesman and GM grabbed me and said come here we just received a GT500. And sure enough the car comes around the corner and everyone is walking and gawking at her. And I’m like hmm that’s a really lucky person that got their GT delivered. Everyone hangs out walking around and talking and I’m like cool but damn I ordered mine last year and still no vin and it’s Iconic Silver but oh well lucky person. I go get my accessories for my ST and I leave the dealership. The next morning I get a text from the salesman I have to redo some paperwork and need to come back. I go back to the dealer later that day and the GT is now in front of the store and I like damn the person didn’t pick her up huh. So inquire about what’s going on and they tell me she’s for sale but have some takers with ADM and I’m like great let them have it. I redo the paperwork and while I’m leaving I say hey would you take this and their like probably not but will see. Now we are into today and they need a part off my Jeep that I removed when I lifted her and I go back again lol. And damn I’m blown away the car is still sitting there and come to find out they unbeknownst to me have decided to give me first choice (I’m not making this up) on the deal. And yes I’m like uh huh but we haven’t agreed on the price but for shits and giggles I tell the Sales Manager write her up at this price and will see how things play out and yeah moving on uhm ok well here she is. And drove her home in the dark and about 20 miles so can’t get to detailed on all the handling. But holly molly this car is so damn nice and she is just imo over the top. Here are the pics and I’ll stop writing and WOW what a hell of nice Birthday Gift to myself which is the 24th. For all those waiting don’t give up you just never know what lies ahead.

Congrats on the car. I saw that video by Koons along with the $20k ADM. I hope you haggled the crap out of them. I'm in Reston, VA. We'll have to get together and take some pictures of our GT500's together. Drive it like you stole it.

Thank you and damn today was 30's and that's a no no on these Summer Performance tires. And tomorrow same temps so it wont be until Saturday and Sunday with temps in the 50s I hope to be able to get a better feel for her. One thing I felt last night was the DCT engaging when you let off the brake to accelerate in first gear. And my daughter who is 15 1/2 actually brought up the Manual Clutch Like Feel with this car. And in all the years of owning cars I have never felt this slight clutch like engagement off the line with an Automatic in essence vehicle. And now totally understand the delayed launch in all these drag videos. The car stalls for an instant then just blasts of while that Dual Clutch Engages. Just really different feel and the massive tires on her are felt big time along with the GNARLY Exhaust which I just love. The steering is so in tune to the surface (Camaro got the win on this but not sold) since the massive front tires just feel every imperfection in the road. Now keep in mind I drove this car 20 miles and at night very cautiously LOL. And I live out in the country and Deer are a major issue and DAMN DAMN sure enough deer runs across my path and thank god for the GNARLY exhaust that eliminated the story I would not want to share. And for the record I never drive my nice cars at night only Trucks and SUVS to run over the wild and not in your face.
