Yes the securing nut on the Craigs bracket is the weak point on the design - both for security (it can be removed by hand) and because of its likelyhood to work loose. Im looking for a nut that can be fastened with an Allen key and im using a spring washer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It wont cover the bracket you will be left with 10mm of the lower part of the bracket showing but i still think it's a good solution for you. A small semi circle of black plastic would disguise it nicely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You'll be happy with the white. Not sure about hid lights. No reference to them in the manual. There is a headlamp leveller on the dash (which is required for HID) but no light washers (also required). I'll make some enquiries. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
