Finally got some updates done. Ordered and installed shaft masters alum ds, and BMR spherical vertical links. Also picked up the below goodness for a killer deal. Still waiting on my OPG, Crank sprocket, and Circle D converter to show up before starting on getting it all installed.
Right now I'm tune, exhaust, suspension, alum ds. Stock converter limits 60'ft bad but last year went best of 7.70 @ 92 1/8th and 12.008 @ 116 1/4 with 1.7 60ft this at 3940lb with me in it.
For this type of application tire fits perfect. For a taller tire and the fact that I want sidewall flex when launching it helps. If it were a 19-20 wheel and tire for more roadcourse/autocross set up it would be a different story.
Car hooks great. I do a lot of playing around on the street and...
Nah I haven't had any issues, and I have been on this set up for almost a year now. I wouldn't worry about it unless you are going off road sometime soon lol
Spoke with Viking about this at PRI but they didn't say much. I really don't want to have to buy Watson kmember so I can run a 14 model adj strut. And don't really want to spend money on coil over right now since I love my BMR drag rate springs ;)
Yank makes a good converter, but their 6r80 one is only rated to around 650whp. I've also been looking into Precision Industries they make a really nice billet construction unit and are a tad cheaper than circle D by about 100-200 They also offer a free re-stall within 2 years of ownership
Where can you find this brake kit? I've been looking for anything on being able to run 15in rear wheels but havent found much that doesnt need more work done besides just the instal of the kit.
