I really wish the Bullitt was offered in Royal Crimson. I would definitely have to own!!
I think it would've been a great option to offer along with Black And Highland Green.
Anyone ever find the part numbers for the GT350 driver and pass. side aluminum door pull/grab trim pieces? They have a gray tint rather than bright silver as on other models. Same color as the GT350 steering wheel trim and shify knob.
Keep an eye out on Facebook, be sure to do general facebook searches and marketplace searches, you may get lucky and find a nice temporary alternative......and save some cash.
Well, got a set of my second choice. Luckily found a set of professionally ceramic coated SVE S350 in gloss black, 19" staggered. They were second hand new in the box and a GREAT price. I am very happy I didn't have to give LMR any money since I know I'm going to want to change them out for...
Yeah, been waiting since Nov., I can't wait any longer...I am exploring many alternatives at this point. Too bad, because they are nice, but not nice enough to wait any longer!!!
I am almost certain Ford would not compensate or replace your injectors without cost. You can find a set of 47Lb injectors for between $250-290. Installation should not be expensive.
I have a very strong hunch that changing to the higher rate injectors will cure the ping, for both 91 and 93...
Good for you Brian!! Thanks for all you've contributed to the enthusiasts looking to better enjoy and enhance their ownership and driving experiences. I am implementing most of your suggestions in my car this month, and will continue to add on a systematic basis.....I think we have the chassis...
Is it possible the pinging has something to do with the injectors flow rate? Maybe upgrading to higher rate injectors (LU47 or larger) would provide more consistant fuel flow and keep the air fuel ratio more stable.
Puck Zeros this past October ar 50 degrees and no sun. 390-400 hp at the wheels, Cracked the throttle at 40 mph, on I55 and was like driving on ice. Used to make the same move daily routine 65 Degree and above weather....grip & gone. Tires used only during summer months, Granted the tires were...
That sounds about right I'm saying 50-55 degrees is the UN-SAFE threshold for summer tires on high horse cars. Anything under 60-65 degrees is potentially sketchy depending on if the sun is out. That doesn't leave a long driving season here in Chicago.
What kinda temps. Were these chilly mornings and we're they sunny or overcast?
The worst feeling in the world is getting on it while merging onto a highway during a chilly morning when you forget your on summer tires!!! Ask me how I know! Effen Pirelli Puck Zeros!
Was your GT350 TB ported or stock?
I am currently running the Ford Racing Power Pack 2. Next winter, plan is to upgrade to an AFS ported 18 manifold, an AFS ported GT350 TB, locked outs, GT350 airbox & inlet tube, and a PBD or VMP tune aftermarket tune.
Have the tuners figured out the ported & un-ported 18 manifold with GT350 throttle body yet?
I know their are some that can tune for the ported & un-ported 18 manifold with SOME of the ported/larger throttle bodies, depending on the size/volume.
I am pretty sure the consensus that had been reached was that when wringing out the revs the GT350 was the best option, all out Performance, but gave up some low end torque. With the exhausts a lot of us run, wringing out the revs on the street can draw the wrong type of attention!
Torque is...
