Let me rephrase, down low the Indys weren’t that good from a 3rd gear pull they were decent. Since its starting to get warm outside they may be better I just decided to go with a Mickey Thompson street SS in the rear and kept the Indy fronts.
I’m wanting to run a filter directly on my blower and and wondering what to do with the the smaller of the 2 lines that run to the plastic Paxton inlet pipe. I know the bigger of the 2 is a vent line. It I can’t tell where the other goes. It appears to go back up towards the manifold and then...
Is there a 3in and 3 out resonated x-pipe I'm running 3 inch all the way back and I don't really want to bottleneck my exhaust. I don't think it'd cause a problem if I did bottleneck it back down it's just a personal preference.
I am hoping that'll be the case with mine I am taking it out of town this weekend so I will put a decent amount of miles on it and see how it sounds. Thanks for all the input.
Good to hear, I will give it a chance to break in before I pass my final judgement especially since I only have around 25 miles on it since install. I figure worst case I can add some resonators in later on and see how I like that.
I search for what I want my car to sound like I have acquired an MBRP street cat-back to go with my cat-less headers. I was wondering what the break-in period is if any and how much will the sound change in this time frame. Also has anyone tried to put a resonator or something after the...
I am wanting to deepen the tone and take out some of the rasp that I have with my current Mach XV longtube setup. I am wondering if I leave the XV mid mounted muffler and added a muffled axleback (like a roush axle back). Would this help or do I need to just invest in an H-pipe muffler setup...
I've already cut out the neck down part so I'm at 3inch from the headers back. I may end up putting an h-pipe with resonators and some sort of axle back.
Im running the XV muffler, debating now if I have anywhere I can add in some resonators. People have suggested that I try to put in some pypes M80 resonators.
I have the stainless power o/r headers with a performance connect that connects up to 3 inch solo performance cat-back. I cannot stand the rasp that is produced from this setup so I am looking into this to take care of some of it. Is there anything you would recommend that would to neck down...
