Which poly inserts did you use? These cars are pretty NVH sensitive with driveline changes and everyone's NVH tolerance is different.

I changed to Motul Multi DCTF this year. It's good. I think Amsoil was in it before, and anecdotally, I like the Motul fluid better. I agree with KZ, though. I think most fluids will perform similarly, especially if they meet the Ford spec.

Cap the petcock with a threaded plug and use a valve inline with the short drain pipe? I'd be afraid of a hose blowing off under pressure, though, since the drain pipe isn't barbed. As an alternative, maybe add a remote mount linkage to unthread the petcock.
