My b-quiet deadening just came in. I’m going to apply it to the trunk lid and rear body panel, then flip the box, remove the lt rear speaker and punch holes in the package tray liner. Hopefully this increases bass output without so much rattle. I hope the rear deck speakers don’t make too much...

I probably won’t do sides since they’re pretty well insulated. I may only do rear body panel and trunk lid. Maybe spare tire well

My sub box is too tight around the sides, Spacers aren’t going to be enough.

How much sound deadening will I need for the rear body panel? Do you think 12 SQ ft x 1ft roll is enough? I’m going to remove one rear speaker and point the subs backwards. I’m also going to punch holes in the rear deck. I’m hoping that’s enough to improve the bass response.

If there was only a way to keep the rear speakers while having more bass come in the cabin with rear firing.

I know but you guys don’t have any suggestions on how to make forward firing sound better? It sounds its best with the seats down. Maybe spacing the seats more will help?

So you guys don’t recommend front firing? I’m trying to find every way possible to keep the rear speakers. I’m out of ideas at this point.

My current set up is front firing. What if I leave it as and space the seats forward an inch more? Perhaps add sound deadening to the seat backs. Do you think this will improve my sound and allow me to have the seats up at all times?

The gap above is left when I flip the speaker box. If I cut the carpet covering the gap from the package tray cover and space the seats forward, as well as sound deaden the trunk, will my bass response improve? Or is that gap not sufficient to allow bass into the cabin.

There’s a tiny gap but it’s mostly sealed. I can punch the speaker holes into the carpet but as for the sound deadening, how would that help the trunk rattle? How big is the improvement? Also, might there be a way to mount some tweeters in the package tray to at least have some vocals hitting...

I’ve had them unplugged before. One of my connections loosened up and I could tell the difference. The rear speakers are the three in ones. They set the highs nicely for the rears. I don’t like rolling without them. Do you think spacing them upwards will help?

When I flip the front firing box tho, I get deep bass but even with the seats down or spaced forward l, not much bass returns to cabin. Thinking this might be due to how tight the box is against the carpet (almost a perfect seal). Will sound deadening the rear body panel and trunk lid really...

They’re facing the front. Was thinking about cutting a hole in the seat back plastic and rolling with seats up. Too much rattle when rear firing.

Has anybody attempted placing spacers on the rear speakers to let bass pass through? Thinking about trying this.
