I have it and so far have some issues with the mic. I placed it where the factory mic sits. I’m also not extremely happy with the EQ. My subs still sound muffled with the windows up (already did the seat mod and removed a rear speaker). But it’s a really good unit. Prolly better than OEM sync

I have the trigger set to the window switch. If it has its own trigger, I’d be happy to wire it directly to the head unit. I did an LOC because I had the 4 inch radio. After that, I bought the tomtop unit, which is actually just a display, not a radio. Looking forward to what this dynavin radio...
It doesn’t have a trigger wire I’m guessing? I’ll probably run the rca’s from the LOC to the back of the radio. That’ll improve sound quality right?
From what I know, the Dynavin headunit
Doesn’t use the Ford ACM, instead it uses its own DSP. I have a power pack that goes in between the unit and speakers and then the sub amp will still be tapped in to the rear deck. So after disabling EQ, bass is better but not as powerful with the windows...
It gets signal from the left rear speaker. At 60-80HZ it only picks up the lowest notes. Sound doesn’t sound it’s best but I’m guessing that’s because I need more mid bass coming from the doors. Going to sound deaden the doors and install foam rings.
