I agree with you, differently shouldn't have to modify anything under the hood to make it fit. For the record i did see your original posting, i just didn't respond because i have no clue why he did it.

We have a Hydro Dip machine at my job but i think I'm to lazy to remove the tube, and have to put everything back together lol. i definitely want to hydro dip most of the stuff in the engine compartment though, think it would pull it all in together.

NOPE not the answer, i can tell you my hood sits 100% flush. I have 0 issues closing my hood, and it does not stick out more on that side.
