This c I’ll have a look this evening and check it all out and do a reset. Car isn’t going to be driven everyday so is it recommended to put them on trickle charge then ? I know my BMW eats the battery if left for a week without driving it. Battery needs changing every 2 years.

No I didn’t actually. Must try that. What voltage should the battery be when driving ? In the settings it says 12.9v which seems low.

I can’t seem to buy that here but can get the Vgate Vlinker FS ELM327 USB instead. Any difference in them ?

Great thanks for that I’ll have a read. It’s hard to believe the 2 tail lights would fail the exact same way which makes me think it’s some module or switch that controls them.

I have checked that and even pushed a piece of cardboard in between the stop and the switch and no difference. The stop is still in place. I was hoping it would be that and an easy fix. Car has full power too.

I bought Forscan on IOS thinking a Bluetooth dongle I have for my bmw (vgate icar pro) might work but it didn’t. Would a diagnostics that a mechanic would have do the job or will Forscan tell us more ?

I asked that question when buying it and they assured me it was not an import. Only one owner from new who lived near the garage where I bought it.

I have tested it more this evening. If I have no lights on the brake lights work, but once I turn the lights on the roof brake light works ok but the tail light brake lights stay on the whole time.
