The 4 pistons are more than capable of locking up good tires. The benefit of the brembo package is its ability to withstand repeated hard braking. If you're able to lock up the tires, adding braking power will not help you stop shorter in a daily driving scenario.
The performance package stops...
Been waiting to see what cpe comes out with for exhaust. Had their single exit on my speed6 and loved it. Not expecting it to sound as good the 6 did, but I'm sure they've managed to work some magic.
When I swapped to my winter setup, the oem set fit. I have eco w/perf pack, not sure if you'd have the same experience.
I believe it was done with 3 in the back w/seats down, one in the passenger seat, but I could easily be remembering wrong. I'm not the one who did that puzzle, tire place did...
I view it the same way I view those glue on pep boys hood scoops. I'm convinced that the only reason I haven't seen a roush scoop glued on a PT cruiser yet is that it costs more than $20.
Secondary O2 code isn't an issue. The code or the sensor can be disabled without any issues. This can be updated in your tune file.
Might be an issue when you go in for emissions, but that's it. Disabling the code/sensor will cause it to come up as "Not Ready" or something similar when...
Will that coilover package you mentioned have an ecoboost specific option?
It would be nice to have a setup that was actually designed for the weight of the EB engine instead of the GT. There's vendors working on it, but I haven't seen results yet (admittedly I haven't looked into it in a few...
100% Stock.
Manual w/performance pack.
Traction Control completely enabled, not in sport mode.
6.0s
Didn't launch and got wheel hop on the shift to 2nd, which caused TC to interfere slightly. Only did the one attempt.
I might try to get as close to the advertised figures as possible...
Nice results. I've only done one 0-60 run since switching back to my summer tires. Didn't launch it, traction completely on, and got wheel hop on the shift to 2nd. Time was 6.0.
Considering how it went down I'm happy with the results.
Had this problem. Have dealer replace your APIMs. You can clear it by pulling the battery cable for 10 minutes. But it'll come back.
I still had problems after the APIM replacement as well, but everything stopped when I didn't allow the radio to download the phonebook or messages.
Once again, the US and Australia use different fuel scales. Our 93 is your 98. Australia uses RON(Research Octane Number). US uses AKI(Anti-Knock Index), which is equivalent to (RON+MON)/2. (MON is motor octane number.)
Thanks for the response! Had a feeling there was something in the ECU doing it, which is why I didn't speculate on the possible causes.
Also, forgive my ignorance, but I thought this was a custom tune?
Looks good, that's a cool tool. Made a profile of your car in Virtual Dyno since we haven't really seen any on this platform yet.
Before going further, understand these are just rough numbers and I may have missed something when building it out. Gonna discuss the log from the datazap page...
Well this thread got interesting. The OP's time isn't useful because he was shifting well outside the power band, which easily cost him some time. Something that he himself admitted in this thread.
Not that any of this matters, but I'm bored and had 5 minutes at work:
Marius has claimed...
Nice article. Didn't provide anybody who has been following the EB here with any new info, but the publicity is nice.
I'm personally most amused to see Anthony nuthugging LN in the comments on yet another site. I love watching blind fanboyism.
Wow, people on a 6th gen mustang enthusiast forum disagree with an opinion article about appearances. What a shocking and totally unexpected outcome.
Up next, New England fans disagree with a negative article regarding the Patriots.
Meanwhile, the person who wrote the editorial is sitting at...
Mishimoto might be able to help you out, but if you ordered after midnight EST (11pm local for you) the price had probably clicked over. Just like with Amazon all sale/price changes are (or at least were) based on california times.
Now for feedback to the can itself. Got it in the mail 2 days...
