My take on it is that some folks can’t stand that oil blog’s author and his tone. I think his test data makes sense. I’ll continue to digest his blog and use it for oil selection. There is no other comparative source for that type of info.

Mine will typically get a bit louder when warm. I’m thinking the hypereutectic piston don’t expand much thermally, but the cylinder bore does, hence the slight increase in noise. When your foot is in the throttle it quiets down.

My car does it. Some days it’s louder than others. I won’t say it’s normal, but a lot of folks have this issue. Mine tends to do it more once it is warm.

I ended up buying some Schroth Quick Fit harnesses. They’re not cheap, but they are easy to install and hold you in place. They make them specifically for our cars.

I haven’t changed my diff fluid yet, I might do it this season. Regarding the install of the trans cooler - not sure about the install. I couldn’t find instructions on the Mishi site. I think you might be able to sneak it out once you unbolt it from the radiator.
