You shouldn't have any problem powder coating those... don't believe they are forged, and most likely cast.
The OEMs are typically outsourcing their forged wheel suppliers, and the factory pricing through the stealerships is similar to companies selling their own forged wares on the market. That...
unfortunately if you don't have a premium to swap the valance to a Roush you're stuck with cutting, or spending more $$ swapping to a premium paint code matched rear bumper + Roush. I would suggest sharp razor blade cutting over the dremel wheel if you aren't super steady handed... also make...
way to go Kay. good choice going with 40 series, will keep your rolling diameter at least a bit close to what you started with... so I take it you went with 275/40/18?
You know they do the rpf1 in black too? :headbang: would go with you badges nicely...
Oooo a 19.5 huh? You can fit a 675/10/18 on those... great contact patch, but no matter the spacer you may need some fender flares. ;)
glad to help where we can though!
$259 each.
Don't believe they are wider than PP at 8.5 front 9.5 rear on the wheels Niz chose, but their offsets are better to push the wheels out a bit more flush... you are correct on the weight savings.
doing a 9.5 on all fours would they get you wider wheels up front over PP only.
Nataphen has it right... 3.73 drivers will be deep into power with a lot of rpm still to go when they reach 60 mph in second gear on the new cj/boss rev range, as opposed to stock rev range where you are having to shift a gear around that point and are already coming out of max power curve.
much of the complaints on the MT-82 stem from Fords implementation of the shifter/linkage... I can't understand why they wouldn't look at proven methods of shifter and linkage towers in use on other very reliable/stout/functional applications dating back to the early 90s that they are mimicking...
I haven't rolled around with a spare in any performance car driven in the past 15 years with 18" or larger wheels on them... most the Supras, RX, and M3s I've had 18-19" wheels(fitted up many 19"+ on other rides through my garage doors), and the 35 series sidewalls on any of these cars barely go...
Niche Essens are around 28-29 lbs in that size, so nice middle ground in the under stock PP weight range while still going a size and width larger. Bathurst would only save another 3 lbs tops, since you need 5mm spacers for clearance anyway, but awesome concave looking wheels.
the Essens are...
19x9.5 +40 run 275 40 or 35 on all fours as well... will probably need 5mm spacers due to concave fitment to fit center caps and such. 25lbs and $189 per wheel

in a hyper silver too...
hells yeah, lets start a reverse stance trend!
wheel width = ] [
tire width = (_____)
looks great! but would actually have a half inch wider contact patch on the right sized wheel. It's kind of a waste of tire $$ on the 9.5
sorry dragon, when I clicked your link it was broken for me, so couldn't tell which wheel was being referenced...
18x9.5 will be able to fit out to a 285 40 18 anyway... a 10" will fit it a tiny bit better, but with the larger sidewalls in this series it is not much of a difference compared to...
Konig Milligram 18x9.5
offset = +35mm
weight = 19.5 lbs
$235 each
flow formed like certain enkei and similar to most "flow forged" wheels

they have gold and silver too...
