Super nice day fun machine is a Factory 5 MkIV roadster I built with a 500hp 427W and a TKO600. At 2300 lbs, its a lot of fun, but also very easy to drive. Can get away from ya...
I was excited to get the new wheels on! Old ones off, whip the new ones on, didnt stop to look around at anything!
I know, pretty ridiculous. As ridiculous as the prev owner leaving one on.
We do have some good 'shine down here.... :like:
Installed Steeda rear bushing supports & frame alignment sleeves, Magneride Dual rate springs and Camber plates. Cut the shock tower tops.
On the Good Side, everything went pretty easy.
On the Bad Side, I had a hard time getting the front right strut up in place and it dropped and broke the...
Redlines on my '21. No issues except made the hole in the battery cover larger to ease removal and installation. No flex, easy to open n close.
Removed the Redline stickers.
Interesting thought on the future of the Mustang.
The competition had always been a major factor in design and cost. Now that the competition is gone, what elements will drive the future design changes and setting price? I imagine price would be the maximum they believe the product will...
Schematics for a '21 show the drivers buckle switch feeding the RCM (Restraint Control Module), but shows no detail as to what kind of switch it is.
Not much help, I know. Buckle switch is part of the seat harness. I would find a way to connect the buckle and tuck it down, perhaps tie-wrapping...
No, I left the hood stripe on there. I like it.
To me, and its just my opinion, the side stripes looked too much like they were added on at the last minute, did really nothing for the design elements of the car.
I also changed the MACH 1 hood logo to white.
(photo from vendors website... not...
I've considered it. Its not a bad look and it makes a good use of the horseshoe shape. I really want to be able to fill and use this empty horseshoe space. I might like to do some halos around the fog lights. To me, there's just that empty space that screams Ford went cheap without at least...
HAHA! I talked to my brother about this and he came up with the exact same thing! I have those on order, be here wednesday. I'll be testing the GT foglight switch controlling this relay to power 2 led fog lights. That will be really nice being able to use a factory switch.
Thanks!!
9' ceiling. 81" post height. Its an Atlas PP85 8000 lb lift. I use a side motor on the garage door. That gained me some good height vs the old center lift. With the car maxed out close to the ceiling, I cannot open the garage door.
I can lift the Mustang about 4'. Its enough room to sit on a...
Installed Steeda full length, ultra light, low profile jacking rails. Also Steeda Trident wheels in gloss titanium. Michelin 275/35-19 front, 305/35-19 rear.
Yes, it needs to be lowered. I have the parts. Should be done next week.
My intention: Investigate if factory-like fog light wiring is possible in our Mach 1's.
1. Installed a GT fog light / headlight switch in my Mach 1. That switch outputs 3v at pin 14 gray to connector C2280B pin 20 gray at the BCM. This wire is factory installed and working.
2. The BCM does...
So that video installs a Starkey harness for the fogs, I suspect because there is no fog wiring, since later there's no wire in pin 14 at the head light switch. My early '21 Mach def has the wiring at the switch... I'll find out about the rest of it this weekend.
I'll be sure to update.
