Absolutely a great time at Daytona especially with the infield racing course. You go once and you will go again. It will be interesting to see how Fords new technology fares against the worlds best. The GM pushrod motor has mores wins in more categories than you can count over many decades...
Very true indeed! In my humble opinion Ford has out done GM in a sense by creating a track star from a far less advantageous starting point. This requires some very serious engineering. Good job Ford!
Why would anyone want to copy that spoiler? It is hideous to begin width. J.C.Whitney should have something for less than a deuce that will probably look better than that Albatross.
Interesting how a simple magazine comparison can evoke such anger. I remember the 70s and 80s when performance was a rare commodity. Lets rejoice in having the choices currently available to us. Things have never been better in performance land. Enjoy the ride guys.
The GT350 running nose to nose within a second of the Z51 C7 is really a tribute to the engineering at Ford. Lets face it A Mustang starts life as a far more pedestrian vehicle than the Corvette which is a full blown sports/performance car from the go. This is a good day for the Ford camp for...
You need to forget about 50 years ago. Ask the guy who bent over on an '07 GT500 or spent 90 grand on a KR about what the next, upgraded, models did for their "investments". Anyone expecting these current vehicles to hold their value or appreciate over time relative to inflation is simply...
That sounds quite reasonable but is entirely dependent on the GT500 and its potential effect on the market. The next GT500 will be on the current, state of the art chassis, will handle extremely well, and at the same time have devastating acceleration capability. This car could put a major beat...
What you got was typical car salesman bull crap. Offer him a few below sticker and see where the chips fall. It costs nothing to make an offer, you have to start somewhere. You are the buyer and are driving the bus at that point, they cannot force a price point if you don't agree. A person who...
Good post. Doesn't look like they were all spoken for. You need to keep in mind that the market for this type of car is extremely small. Lots of interest for sure but very few actual buyers.
