I had a Roush 427R and it had heat soak issues. I installed a larger intercooler with dual electric fans to help reduce it. All positive displacement superchargers will expearance heat soak of some degree when operated at a constant rpm.

Interesting I was initially interested in the Eforce because a friend had great success on an 09 GT but after reading several threads on other fourms about its less then impressive performance on the 11-14 cars I changed my mind. I too also wonder what they did to blow it up.

With the right intercooler set up you can practically get rid of heat soak so the only thing forced inducted guys need to focus on would be the added weight but even that can be handled with the right suspension set up.

Magnaflow and Flowmaster are on my list of never again from past experiences the do sound good at idle but drone under load. On the 4.6 cars I loved how they sounded with H pipes but these 5.0 cars sound amazing with an X pipe.

I've never been the biggest fan of flow master so I went with the Corsa Extream cat back with the double x pipe it was definitely worth the money.

Ford performance tunes tend to be conservative. I ran one on a 2006 and wasn't impressed. Maybe things will be different for the S550.
