I think I was the first I curbed it last week rushing in to work. Mine is not quite as bad though and Im planning a set of aftermarket wheels and tires. But I feel your pain!
So I talked to the dealer and it looks like I would have to shell out a thousand bucks for that one wheel. So come tax time a set of aftermarkets are going on.
Hey go over to San Tan Ford and ask for Brett. I bought my 15 from him and had a great experience. They even let me sample their Roush Mustangs while I waited for delivery.
Hey guys don't know if y'all put anything up in the ecoboost section but it is awesome you guys are in. My FoST buddies swear by your stuff all I can say is get a car and get cracking!
Yeah the only badge I would consider sticking on this car is an old SVO one. Also good call on the possible depth difference maybe ill swing by the dealer and take a look at the differences.
Yep I did an OTS SCT Tune on my Focus ST and that actually picked up a few MPGs (and a good amount of power.) The Mustang will be getting a custom tune once I have the capital to invest and make up my mind on who to go with.
Alright guys, looks like the GT grill can be ordered for around 200 bucks. Show of hands would this look like trying to pass off an Ecoboost as a GT OR just a cool styling upgrade? Set. Go.
We all faced (or will be facing) the huge decision between the big nasty 5.0 or the technically astonishing 2.3 Ecoboost. For the majority it came down to performance versus fuel costs. But, just how economical is the 2.3 and is it really worth it to sacrifice over 100hp? I decided to experiment...
I am so excited to see you results. It looks like this tune has much more sustained power throughout the curve. Did you run stock plugs or go a step colder?
That is something to consider and good call the 5.0 is not direct injected. I am also curious if any of the tuners have done colder plugs with their tunes (Cobb Lund Livernois anyone else on this freq.) BTW this thread should be considered open for any mods that or parts that you guys want to...
So I come from the Focus ST world and remember the big problem with those cars making big power for a while was a lack of a high capacity fuel pump. Once everyone starts upgrading turbo size it will only be a matter of time before we will need more fuel. Does anyone know if there are plans to...
Actually the center exhaust would solve the dilemma of a performance exhaust on the Ecoboost. As it stands there is exactly no point in having a separate pipe and muffler on a 4 cylinder. But it is a bit detrimental to appearance to have a single exit exhaust. With something down the center you...
