  1. rear view camera

Yeah, that's all we need... drivers at the wheel of a 435 hp car watching movies as they drive down the road - great idea!
  2. 2015 Mustang Involved in an accident...

    Sheriff Sniff?? LMAO....
  3. So the rag's first driver reviews are out but....

Problem is the weight reduction cost per unit if it were optional would price it far higher than $2k for the same weight savings, since the investment would have to be recovered and profits made over a far smaller number of units sold.
  4. 2015 Mustang Canadian Pricing and Order Guide Released

That build site does not include any employee pricing discount so GT Prem with PP and a few standard options such as nav comes to about $50k before taxes - ouch. If after a test drive I want one I will be waiting for the discounts. The M2 is slated to come in at about $55 to 60K and that will...
  5. Auto123 Review (GT)

Makes some interesting comparisons with the Challenger: http://www.auto123.com/en/ford/mustang/2015/review?carid=1151803600&artid=171375 Hollywood, CA — When you’re known for doing something, like really known, and you tend to do that something really, really well; you’d better not mess it...
  6. Car Guide Review (GT and EcoBoost)

Loved both, but not too impressed with the auto transmission... http://www.guideautoweb.com/en/articles/26639/2015_ford_mustang-a_brave_new_world/
  7. Wildly varying opinions on the exhaust note of the V8 in reviews

I suspect many of these reviewers would be happy to have (and even prefer) a truly raucous exhaust on the car for the day or two they are testing - but if they had to live with it as a dd for 6 months they'd soon be whining about "drone" etc. You see similar patterns when reviewers comment on...
  8. So the rag's first driver reviews are out but....

While a majority on the forum (including myself) might willingly do so, Ford had to be concerned with the larger group of non-enthusiasts who make up the large majority of Mustang buyers. If they've done their market research properly Ford will have a pretty good idea of what the impact on sales...
  9. Driving.ca Review (GT & EcoBoost)

Hmmm - he says the LED fogs serve as the DRLs - great if true but I thought someone here stated that Canadian fogs would only be halogens in order to be bright enough to meet the Canadian DRL specs...
  10. Yahoo Autos First Drive (EB and GT)

And yet another review that contends the PP is a must-have... the thought of dealing with swapping tires out for the winter --yuuk.
  11. What kind of deal would get you to buy a '14 over a '15?

    I'm in on a '14 for $5000 down...and no payments. :D
  12. The Fast Lane Car Review (EcoBoost)

 +1000 I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume it's some crappy keyboarding assist app but he should trash it ASAP. Going by the preview, it looks like the upcoming review of the GT Fast Lane is putting together will be of the non-PP version - too bad.
  13. EcoBoost or EcoBust?

The initial drive reviews have offered very mixed perspectives on the the EB, with some lauding its better weight balance and citing sharper handling relative to the GT, and others lamenting its lack of upper-rev grunt and weak exhaust note. How are you seeing it so far?
  14. PistonHeads Review (EcoBoost)

Agreed - with that torque curve driving the EB's going to be a bit like driving a VAG TDi diesel. And the reviewers keep hammering on the EB's strained sound in the upper reaches of the rev range as well, making you even less inclined to go there. Ecoboost or Ecobust?
  15. Fox News Review (GT & EcoBoost)

A good read and very positive.... http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2014/09/19/2015-ford-mustang-quick-spin/
  16. Edmunds Review (GT & EcoBoost)

I'll pass thanks. Now a nice new ND Miata....
  17. Edmunds Review (GT & EcoBoost)

Yes - going to massively wide fronts can seriously diminish steering feedback.
  18. Slashgear Video Review (EcoBoost)

This is not a review, do not waste your time.
  19. Autoblog Review (GT & EcoBoost)

Kudos to Autoblog for taking their time and not rushing a skimpy review out the door just to be first. And whoever thought of driving the old versions for comparison should get a nice bonus cheque - excellent move. A thorough and careful review that is very encouraging. And I totally agree with...
