A generic visibility issue with those hybrid IPs arises from pushing the analog tach and speedo further out from the centre to create room for that big flashy digital display. Because these 2 gauges are not as centred any more there's a bit more effort (and time) required to see them; and they...
Was hoping to avoid the whole played-out, tedious arguments about adding rev matching and just get an answer to the question ....wishful thinking I guess.
Anyone have any knowledge or informed speculation about the possibility (if a new manual transmission is fitted for the refresh) that we might get an auto-blip rev-match feature similar to that in the Camaro? Loved that when I test drove one.
What's the Costco discount worth, is it for membership or a branded credit card, and how long do you have to have the card before you can claim it? TIA...
Agree with you on the idea of waiting for the "smart plateau" - great metaphor.
It will be interesting to see how quickly Ford can respond to Chevy. Remember when Honda dropped a terrible Civic at the start of its last generation, and came back only a year or so later with major revisions...
So by your rule a forum member is not allowed to express opinions about other people' opinions? I've made a case for why I think many of the responses have been simplistic - no consideration of the OP's current situation, or what Ford may be planning given the current competitive environment...
^ "Simple factual answer" - please. All anyone has offered is opinions - "it's better to get it now than wait" - and simple truisms like "there will always be improvements the next year out" etc. etc.
At least I tried to inform my own opinions with some plausible arguments. No "magical...
A lot of simplistic answers in this thread. Your current situation matters a lot - are your happy enough with your current vehicle that you would be OK driving it while you wait? Can it easily handle a year more of driving without major costs being incurred?
While there may be no engine change...
I have no idea if they did - I never made that claim. But that the new PP GT would stomp on the current 1LE SS was certainly the common prediction amongst the Mustang faithful.
As to the car mag comparisons - at least the decent ones compare the cars under identical conditions - same track...
Unfortunately in Canada the 2016 Camaro 1LE SS priced in the low 40s looks like a much better deal, performance-wise it will split the difference between the GT w/TP and the GT350 while costing about the same as the former. GM has stated that the base 2016 SS will be faster on track than the...
^With that list of prior purchases in your sig it's hardly a surprise you'll get a special deal. No doubt your manager starts drooling the moment he sees you enter the dealership.... :D
Personally if the 350 is priced within a few K of the M2 I doubt I'll be interested. I'd sacrifice the...
This. It's on everything from the MINI to the Porsche 911S these days - time for it on the Mustang as well. It would go a ways in reducing the demand for an auto.
I just hope Ford avoided using a truck-like clutch and shifter on this car - if I want a workout I will go to the gym. I remember test driving a V6 manual years ago and could not stand the clutch, it would have been far too heavy for a DD.
