I have the 401a and opted not to get the B&O sound upgrade. I worried about this a little while waiting the 5 months it took for my car to be built and delivered. I can say that I am really happy with the sound system in the GT Premium 401a package. I'm a guy that can appreciate hifi stereo...
I've been driving my new mustang PP1 with the michelin 4s tires in sub 32 temperatures for a couple of weeks, and I see no problem. I won't take the car out if it's going to snow, or if there is gunk on the road, but on a dry road on a cold day they are quite capable. That's just my experience.
Awesome. Thanks for the feedback. Now if the weather would just stop snowing and warm up a little bit, I could get out and actually drive my new mustang.
New owner here, sorry if this is straight forward to everyone else.
I'm still a little confused about sport mode (S on the shifter). Does putting the shifter on S require you to use the paddles? Will the car shift on it's own in S mode other than when the rpms drop too low?
I live in Broomfield. I've thought about going up Hwy 72 (Coal Creek Canyon) to the peak to peak hwy and down to Lyons and back home. Have you had to worry about deer or elk early in the morning?
Is Squaw Pass road in good shape? That sounds like a good run.
What do you two do to avoid speed...

Now if this snow storm would just get the heck out of here so I can go pick it up.
IT'S HERE!!!
Unfortunately it's too cold and snowy to pick it up! :crying:
I plan on picking it up on Friday after the cold and snow clears.
For those following behind here is the timeline. Basically 5 months from ordering to owning.
I've called ford performance twice now in the last several months. Both times they have told me that they can't tell me anymore than what is posted in the online status. They were very nice about it however.
The tracker seems like it creates more aggravation than help. My status went to awaiting shipment almost 4 weeks ago. It has not changed since then. ETA is showing the same as 4 weeks ago, 1/10/19. Who knows at this point when it will ship, or if something else is going on behind the scenes to...
So one of the shops finally responded to my email requesting a quote. This was the Denver shop recommended by the Steeda rep.
They estimated $1200 to $1400 including alignment!
Holy cow.
Does that seem high to you?
Definitely has me leaning to doing it myself. I can buy some needed tools for...
Today's date 1/16/19. My blend date was 12/20/18. Status showed awaiting shipment a few days after that. Status is still showing awaiting shipment! ETA shows 1/10/19. It's been showing that ETA for about 3 weeks. The "countdown" at the top of the status has started counting up! It now shows...
I also have an Eastman. It's a E15SS which is an LG2 style 00. It's got a K&K mini pickup and is the guitar I play when I plug in. It really sounds great plugged in. I have several others, the best being a Froggy Bottom SJ deluxe koa .
It's beautiful and sounds great, but I don't play it much...
I live in Broomfield, a little north of Denver. Aside from heading up to the peak to peak highway, where do you go if you want to do a little "spirited" driving? Are there roads east or north east of Denver that you can air it out safely? Or if you want to travel a little further, what is your...
Thanks for all the thoughtful feedback.
Let's say that I get it done in a shop, what tools will I need to properly remove a wheel and adjust the shocks and struts?
At some point I will also be getting different wheels as well, so I at least want to be able to do the basics.
Thanks,
I really appreciate all the ideas that have outlined here.
For now I think I'm going to do a couple of things.
Institute a rule having all passengers enter the cars outside of the garage
Getting the door edge guards for the Kia Sorrento
Rearranging the garage a little to allow the cars to be...
