I'm planning on going with a 285/35 R19 squared set up.
This is for my daily driver, with lowered suspension. My goal is to have a sporty daily driver, and have fun on the track, not set the new track record.
What would be a good compromise of a performance summer tire that I could daily drive...
I just put these on my car with the sport linears.
Can you help me understand how the different settings will impact the driver feel first off, and also the aggressive performance driving properties?
Full soft is all the way clockwise, correct?
The videos and the documentation I saw...
I live in Colorado. As long as you are guaranteed dry pavement, you're ok. Got my GT PP1 last February and I have driven the 4Ss in 20 degree temps with no problems. I did worry about the tires cracking, and I worried that an unexpected winter blast would leave me in a tight spot. So I just...
Update! I finally got around to completing the installation of my steeda suspension.
General thoughts:
I'm glad I did it myself
It was helpful to watch many youtube videos over and over again to make myself completely familiar with the steps. However, no single video showed everything I needed...
I love my Velocity Blue.
The real confirmation is from everyone I show the car too. The first thing they say without me saying anything is how much they love the color!
59 years young here. 4 Daughters are married and "off the books". 9 grand children. Life has been good to me.
My wife and I were talking about my planned retirement at age 60. She said that if I retired I would just annoy her.
I said "you're probably right". But if I'm going to keep working...
Some of this might not be exactly right since I did this several weeks ago.
First you will have to go to the ford website to download the sync update.
https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/how-tos/keep-your-sync-up-to-date.html
If you aren't already registered, you will have to register...

I had the same annoying message and now it is gone.

IāVe never had a radar detector before. I pretty much stick to the speed limit plus the allowed 5 to 10 mph over.
I really got this for road trips and doing local mountain runs. Still waiting for better weather to settle in here in Colorado.
So far I really like the R7 and it features and...
Based on the information in this thread (Thanks GTFURY and Enzo), I bought a Uniden R7 and the MirrorTap MTX-1010 kit and did the install.
A few thoughts:
Removing the cover was initially a little disconcerting, like you were going to break something. Just go for it. As the pic above shows...
I owned a 73 Mach 1 when I was 17. It took a little over 40 years, but all my daughters are married and now I'm back driving a mustang. The Keith Urban video needs one more scene that shows the dude getting a mustang after his kids are gone.
Thanks for posting this. I was getting the annoying messages about connecting to WiFi as well. Followed the instructions and now I'm on the latest version of 3.3. No more annoying messages. All is well.
Note to others: The ford instructions on how to do this are a little lacking. When you down...
So yesterday I installed the Steeda stop the hop kit (IRS alignment kit, bushing support system, IRS braces). It took 4 and 1/2 hours doing the job by myself. By far the biggest pain in the butt was the bushing support system. Specifically, the piece that comes in two pieces that is connect by...
I'm assuming I use the replacement bolts provided by Steeda, and discard the old. If no replacement is provided. Use the old one
Yesterday I competed the first step, I installed the Steeda low profile full length jacking rails. The job when smoothly. The only somewhat tricky part was scraping...
I'm an engineer. I like things planned out, but I always expect things will not go exactly as planned.
I also have a cordless 1/2 drive impact wrench. If that doesn't cut it, it will be time for the breaker bar.
Thanks all for the insight and advice.
So I've decided to do the work myself. I've got all the parts and I've acquired the tools I didn't already have.
This is what I have (all Steeda):
Low profile full length jacking rails
Rear IRS Subframe Support Braces
IRS Subframe alignment kit
IRS Subframe bushing support system
Adjustable...
I saw that warning as well. My car spends most of the time in my garage where it usually doesn't get below 40, even if it is much colder outside. Regardless, I just made the choice to drive it in the cold, as long as the roads are dry. I'll run the risk of tire cracks so I can enjoy the car...
