3.55's gears were good in my 5spd Mach 1. But with a 6spd and an engine that pokes just north of 8,000rpm 3.73's 3.90's and even 4.11's would be a good option. This engine isn't going to be a torque monster so the higher gear ratio will help even more with acceleration and with a 6spd...
Base GT350 should be high 40's to very low 50's, options will push it to 55-57k. Remember they keep saying you will be surpised by the pricing. When you look at it, the base car is very much like the Boss302. stiffer suspension and better brakes with a sweet engine.
Take a look at the pistons one more time and tell me you want to throw boost at this engine, especially if it has 12:1 compression... See how tiny those ring landings are?
From the sounds of it... This car is going to be super light (GT)... I cannot wait for this thing to be released!
Also I am very happy how they keep mentioning that we should be surprised at the pricing of the GT350 which keeps me believing that it will be obtainable to me =D
Would be nice if someone could chime in and answer the guys question instead of doubting whether he will find a slightly used EB or not. Odds are, he will find one. So how about that mileage does anyone have real world experience?
To the OP, that is one hell of a commute!
