Being a Sporty SUV owner I drove the new Explorer ST just to see how it compares to my SRT Jeep and I'm honestly quite surprised. Its extremely quick (slightly slower than the SRT Durango or Jeep), the 10r60 is amazing in every vehicle it goes into so no surprise there and 3 rows of seating who...
After a quick youtube search there is alot of N/A coyotes deep in the 10s but I only found one MT82 car full weight in the 10s and it ran a 10.9. Either it is a freak of a car or has a ton of mods.
Get 18 IM, lockouts and a lund tune you will not regret it. My car pulls all the way to the 7800 rpm redline and makes much more power throughout the whole range.
I paid 22k OTD on my 2016 GT Premium Auto with 45k on it less than 6 months ago. You can a GT/EB for a steal you just have to look around. Also you can very safely run 87 in the GT and not notice the power loss to make up for the 5mpg difference. Honestly the GT is more of an enthusiast style...
With a really good driver, lots of suspension work and squeezing every ounce of power out with a tune sure. There is a few NA coyotes in the 10s not sure if they have full interiors.
I'm surprised that boat of a hellcat is so far up that list as well as the 5400lb Jeep Trackhawk. Guess you can get grocery's right after laying down some good lap times.
Make sure to update all the way to sync 3 then just buy the usb port and swap it out super easy takes 30 seconds to swap usb ports but a little a longer to update the system.
I agree I prefer my motors soundtrack anyway. You have wind noise, road noise, outside noise all these other factors that "intrude" on the audio in your car. If you have to turn your music up loud enough or have enough bass to drown it out then maybe you should turn it down and pay more attention...
If your car is auto youll take him from a roll. Dig is gonna depend how well you can launch compared to him and manual will just be a drivers race. My guess is you make somewhere in the 400-430whp range but you probably have a better power band and definitely have the top end that the coyote...
I used to be a 4banger turbo guy my first car was 2005 SRT4 ACR with the mopar stage 2 and ran high 12s a couple times. I then got my first mustang with 5.0 in it and have never looked back. Sure the power is great the fuel economy is not bad I could get 28mpg while roadtripping and run 87...
MGW all day every day and twice on Sunday. Never had the blowfish bracket but did have the barton. Used to have really bad grinding issues at 7500 rpm wot shifts at the strip. The barton fixed the problem but I like the way the MGW felt better as well as the MGW fixing my problem as well. Went...
Just did some building on both Chevy and Fords website if you option both cars equally. Only suspension mods to corvette and GT500 no track pack they are 600$ apart on cost for the minimums to make them the same.$79,900 for the Vette and $80,600 for the GT500. If you fully load both of them the...
