    Yes sir...hoping enough pre-production cars were built to work out the kinks. Crossing my fingers it passes QC quickly. I am hoping for a few weeks driving on summer tires before snow hits Chicago!

    Okay that makes sense for that very specific scenario. I suppose then most if not all orders should be placed through the largest dealership within a reasonable driving distance to improve their chances of getting a car built through allocation. A deposit further guarantees the sale.

    Question then: If dealers knew/know stock orders would be built first why didn't more order them this way like they did mine? Yes, I have a great relationship with my dealer, but logically the sooner they get them in the sooner they are out the door, correct?
