The best camera is the one you have with you at the time. I have a 6D and plenty of lenses. But doesn't meant I stop taking photo if I don't have my 6D with me or shouldn't mean I need to carry my bunch of lenses and DSLR around with me either. And as long as you understand what a photograph is...

Seems like iOS 10 can now shoot in RAW too. This opens up more options for post processing than the standard Jpeg.
