I still don't believe the stripes are graduated. I asked Ford via their facebook page a few days ago and they are working to confirm. I'll post the answer in a new topic.

I really wouldn't worry about the fading stripes - just some graphic artist thinking he's being smart. I've never seen any photos of real cars in the wild with stripes like that.

Congrats Peter, that's awesome. Re the stripes, a number of people have commented on that and similar images in a number of threads, where the stripes appear to fade. I doubt very much that that is a photograph or in any way a true reflection of what they actually look like, rather an attempt...
