  1. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I'm at 632whp dynoed, plus 35-40 after a recent revision from Wengerd and only spin in 1st as long as the road and tires are warm. Sometimes if the stars align I can dead hook all the way through 1st on a hot day, feels pretty wild lol. 2nd can get squirrelly in colder temps though for sure. I'm...
  2. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

No idea to be honest, probably 50-100hp (a few degrees of timing). I'll be hitting the dyno on the 19th, will see if I can log a pull with the meth off and on.
  3. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I run 50/50 meth injection because all I have around me is 92. With the 120mm pulley the car pulls very hard and logs zero knock retard (it was pulling timing before the meth). I use the Snow 2.5 kit with the 12GPH nozzle set to start spraying at 5PSI and ramp to 100% at 10PSI. I've been...
  4. Centrifugal Superchargers and Boost

One easy way to check is to try to blow air into (or suck air through) the line going to the bov. If you can, there’s a leak, probably at the banjo flange. When I assembled my BOV, I screwed the banjo flange in too tight and it rotated the whole inner assembly and created a leak. I just rotated...

Just got back from a 2 week road trip through Cali in a rented camper van... made a quick run to the store and forgot how obnoxiously fast these ESS boosted cars are. Things get scary very quickly. Can't wait for the day I find a hellcat. Just wait until you pull all the way to 8k :sunglasses:
  6. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Yeah they're pretty good tires, they just wear pretty quickly (5-10k miles depending on how you drive). From what I've heard, compound and sidewall matter a lot more than width. Rain performance is decent but I keep it about 60mph max when the road is wet.
  7. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I run NT555R2 285s in the back and NT555G2 275s in the front (the 285s were on national backorder for the G2 lol). Traction is good overall, although they can let loose after about 6000RPM in 1st gear if the road is cold or the tires haven't warmed up. 2nd will dead hook all the way to redline...
  8. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Finally got the meth kit installed last night! Waiting on a small fueling revision from Wengerd, but I took it for a short drive to pick up lunch today it pulls noticeably harder. Car is rowdy as fuck. Also got a mouthful of windshield washer fluid when trying to siphon it out - 0/10 it tastes...
  9. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

The "Standard 50mm" option when speccing out the G3 kit is the Summit BOV, that's the one I'm rolling with!
  10. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I'm running the standard Summit BOV that came with the G3 kit. No problems with it for me other than when installing I had to make sure the whole banjo fitting insert wasn't rotated 100% clockwise, otherwise it won't actuate properly.
  11. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I need to finish the install of my meth kit but I'm dreading pulling the bumper off for a 3rd time lol. Just have to mount the bracket+pump, tap the windshield washer fluid tank, and run the lines. No other plans for today/tomorrow though so I should probably get it going.
  12. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

The instructions that I used (from the website) do not say to leave the crash bar off. Maybe they're putting an outdated version of the instructions on the USB drive? If so they'd probably want to know.
  13. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

A better radiator might help, but I'm not sure this is the problem causing him to hit 250... I have stock radiator (base 2023 GT) and only see temps hit 220 after multiple hard pulls in high 100+ degree heat. I've only seen 230 once. When idling and driving in traffic I make no boost and see no...
  14. Do I need headers

From what I’ve heard, headers are a nightmare to install and you basically need an engine lift to raise the engine an inch or so get it done. Headers aren’t holding you back on 93. Not worth the labor (whether you’re paying or doing it yourself) in my opinion. My headers are stock with a G3 kit...
  15. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

That's really hot. Do you have enough coolant/air bubbles in coolant?
  16. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I'm just using the summit one that came with the kit, but yeah it's decently loud and I love it.
  17. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

You can't go wrong with either choice to be honest and it's really just gonna be a personal choice. As for my situation, I chose centri specifically for the powerband. In the hellcat I could shred NT555RII drag radials at 2000RPM because it just made an unusable amount of torque. As a result I...
  18. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

No matter which direction you go, you’re gonna love it. I installed my G3 kit at 992mi and it’s a whole different car. Pulls way harder than my hellcat ever did.

How many pages of drama do you need to make before you feel better dude? Is the billet bracket in the room with us now?
