  1. To Those Who Have .. Subframe & Alignment

This is what I was originally hoping for but of course its the drivers side (the most challenging) to adjust. The shop today didn't want to mess with it.
  2. To Those Who Have .. Subframe & Alignment

I thought I would start my own thread as I originally piggy backed off an older one. I'm looking for input from those who have and those who have chosen not too. Please bear with me. About a week ago I had my new wheel & tire combination installed. The goal was to move on from the tucked...
  3. Is It Just Me.........

I've had the pleasure to enjoy ... definitely a direction I thought about.
  4. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

Would the left rear camber difference be visually different from the right?
  5. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

So, I took measurement today, used a plumb bob hung from the fender, and used the same point each side (ridge around the center cap), passenger side is at 2.5 inch, driver side 2 1/16 inch. So essentially I need to move the passenger side in about 1/4 inch to get them to be the same. Which...
  6. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

I will also add, one of the reasons I chose to go with the wheel and tire combination I did, was to make sure there was no poke. That's why I chose 265 over 275. My combination moved it out just over 18mm from OEM. Little did I know there was a hidden flaw.
  7. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

So, had appointment today with the place that specializes in alignments. I showed him what I was there for and what was hoping to correct. He could see what I was talking about. He brought the car in, looked at it for about 10 min or so. He pretty much tells me he wouldn't change a thing. Said...
  8. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

True, but I also have lowering in my future as well. Whatever doesn't happen now, will definitely happen then.
  9. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

I like your thinking. Part is ordered 👌
  10. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

Yeah, that definitely makes the most sense, but I don't have the part and would need to find the time to install it. My agenda is to have them look at it, before they dig into it. I would assume since they specialize in alignments they would have knowledge of the S550 and already have an idea of...
  11. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

I'm taking it to a place that specializes in alignments. I figure see what happens with that before digging into adding the subframe kit or camber adj kit.
  12. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

I have decided to take your advice and start with the alignment. Hoping this takes care of the issue and all is good. I have a tendency to overthink while trying to figure it out.
  13. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

Took the weekend to look at this more and doing a little reading in the forums. I'm thinking this might be more of an alignment issue as was mentioned beforehand. Maybe someone that has a better idea of what it should look like could confirm. Looking at it, it seems the the driver side has more...
  14. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

I'm definitely learning more and more about these cars. I planned on checking the alignment, but I think installing the subframe kit before I do that in hopes all is good.
  15. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

Not necessarily saying this was induced by wheel and tire change. But now noticeable because of the change. Obviously the old set up was tucked in more, so something you wouldn't see. Unfortunately my OCD now seen this, and it wants to find a solution.
  16. Passenger rear wheel sticks out further than drivers side...WTF

I figured I would wake this thread up for a moment. Stock suspension. Went from OEM 19X9, 255/40 to 19X9.5, 265/40 and then noticed this ... did I just fall victim to the dreaded not so aligned subframe?
  17. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Definitely makes a difference. New set up RTR Tech 5, 19 X 9.5 with 265/40 19. Went with Continental Extremecontact Sport. Comparing 255 to 265 in the case PZero to the Conti's, about 3/4 inch in width difference. Sorry, I'm not the best with the camera. Today... Before ..
  18. Potential purchase 1st Mustang

The window sticker shows it has magneride.
