R is about 100lb lighter and about 50lb of it is coming from 4 wheels only which consider as unsprung weight. Plus the tires, rear seats and trunk liner save the rest of the weight.
I think light weight and better tires are the major reasons imo
Chevy just realease the 1LE package price for ZL1 which cost $7500. So a ZL1 1LE would cost merely $70,990 with manual shifter only and it should be faster than normal ZL1.
Hope Ford will figure out a solution for this. I like this competition.
Any update? Also interested into the wheels but feel suspicious for the company

The front spring rate of GT350 is 34 N/mm (194 lb/in) vs GT350R's 42 N/mm (240 lb/in). Seems larger front splitter from R would match with firmer front spring due to the increase of the downforce for the front. The rear springs have the same spring rate at 160 N/mm (914 lb/in) although they have...
Since I know over 20+ Chinese mustang owners in Shanghai. The law in China require YELLOW tuning signal. So all the taillights of Chinese spec mustang here have one yellow light bar on the outside of each tail light. When you press the brake the inner two light bars of each taillights turns on...
I was there today at Shanghai International Auto Show. There was nothing really special at all. The same white taillights without sequential function. No wonder people spend over a thousand USD to convert their taillights to red US spec with sequential turning lights.
Checked the plate and 100% sure the black one on the photo with Texas plate is a 2017 and judged by the seats it has the convenience package. The question is how did it catch on fire and will Ford replace him a new R too?
