Iām using ā13 F-150 turbos as well. I did not upgrade them and Iām using the stock wastegates. I drilled and tapped one compressor housing and ran a line to a TurboSmart boost tee (currently set to minimum setting). From the boost tee I used a t-piece and ran a line to each wastegate.
You've...
Hey guys, new question (and sorry if itās been asked/answered, Iāve searched for 2 days and couldnāt find anything). The vacuum leak is fixed and they car is driving pretty good on the 3rd version of the tune from MPT. We are at the WOT section of the data logging process and Iāve run into a...
Same, we assumed it was some sort of vent that opened when letting off the throttle or something along those lines. Especially because it dumps into the air box before the throttle body and not after.
Well I think you all have answered my question. Looks like we left a vacuum line completely open thinking it was a vent hose. I definitely feel like a fool.
I am on the initial tune and the instructions I received was to start the data log, idle 1 minute, drive 3 minutes, idle 1 minute. It was that 3 minute segment of driving where things were rocky.
I reached out to Tom at Super Six to address a potential vacuum leak. There are 2 hoses that come...
Thanks for the motivation! Iām hoping to hear back from them soon.
As for the ECU pulling the throttle due to torque, is that something MPT would be able to address on a follow-up tune?
So unfortunately Iāve run into some issues. Everything is installed, only had 2 small oil leaks and both were easily addressed.
For the bad, Iām using the āinitial tuneā from MPT Performance, so I know itās not supposed to be perfect, but I figured it would be drivable. From forum posts Iāve...
Hi all. I have a 2017 Mustang 3.7L V6 with a manual transmission and used the Super Six Motorsports twin turbo kit and am using the 13-14 turbos from the F-150.

So being my first major project, 350 whp was actually my goal number. I definitely appreciate all the info and when (not if) I'm ready for more power I'll upgrade the internals. I will definitely be making a custom downpipe, as you suggested, and am strongly considering porting the manifolds I...
I went with 13-14 turbos. I am following the thread but must have missed the post youāre talking about. Iāll take another look!
Edit: actually, if youāre talking about Turbobay I did see that. Is it really worth it to get them upgraded?
Well... LKQ messed up my order. I had all the parts shipped to my parents' house and everything was delivered about 1-2 weeks ago. I actually hadn't gone to see the parts until today. LKQ sent me 3 right-sided turbos and 1 left-sided exhaust manifold... I sent an email earlier so hopefully this...
So Iām a little bit behind schedule and donāt have any new pictures yet , but I have purchased all the parts to complete the build with the exception of the tuner! I have one package left to be delivered that contains the F-150 charge pipes and turbo oil drain assemblies.
My plan is to use the...
So, details on the twin turbos.
I purchased a kit from Super Six Motorsports that adapts the turbochargers from the 2011-2014 F-150 3.5L Ecoboost trucks to the 3.7L Cyclone V6. It comes with adapter plates for the manifolds, braided lines for oil, and all fittings required to adapt the turbos...
