If you’re willing to do E85 you can run 14 psi and I’ve seen people get 500+ with that setup. As Southerncyclone said, there are more expensive setups that could get you 500+ easy.

Nope, still got the stock cats. Cut and welded the bends to match up with the turbos. My buddy is wanting me to delete the cats though, lol.

Hey! Just seeing this. I bought them from Procharger over the phone. Can’t buy them online as they only come as a part of different kits they offer, but they were more than happy to charge me for them individually when I called.
So I fixed the leak and am still making too much boost. For now I am taking the boost controller completely out of the equation. I can pressurize the whole system and the needle on the MityVac holds steady no matter what pressure it’s at.
The boost at WOT in 3rd gear gets as high as 12 psi...
No I did exactly that. I ran a line from the compressor, then split the line to each turbo. Still had overboost, but this was before I found the leak. Been at work all day so I haven’t had a chance to see if fixing the leak fixed the overboost.
Should’ve checked this first but didn’t think to. I unhooked the line from the compressor housing and attached the MityVac there. Pumped up to 10 psi and sure enough the needle is dropping very very slowly and there’s a faint hiss from the plastic t-piece. If I play with this lines around the...
Ok, I did that and still having overboost issues. So what you’re saying is that the TurboSmart wastegate actuators will operate differently than the stock actuators, despite both of them being set to 3psi?

I’m just confused. If the stock wastegates are set to 3psi, how is changing to the TurboSmart ones any different? Is there something special about the TurboSmart ones that open faster/wider?
I did see that Kody used the EBC, but even an EBC can’t set the boost lower than wastegate pressure.
Ok guys... I’m at a complete loss. Got a MityVac that does pressure and set both wastegates at 3 psi crack pressure. I made sure there were no obstructions or kinks in any of the lines. I am STILL making way too much boost. WOT in 3rd gear I’m getting 12-13 lbs at about 3k RPM.

Yes, I’m using the stock wastegates. Adjusting the nuts definitely had an effect on the boost pressure. MPT and Tom from Super Six were the ones who suggested adjusting the nuts. Prior to adjustment I was making 14 psi at about 2.5k RPM. After adjustment I haven’t made 14 until about 4-5k.
