  1. 2020 Mach 1!

Listen up Ford, remember the Probe? Remember how you tried to pass off that abortion of a car for the new Mustang? We haven't forgotten. How'd that work out for you? This is on the same level of stupid. The fact that you've even considered to call this SUV a Mach 1 speaks volumes to how out...
  2. 2020 Mach 1!

I've been hoping that Ford would come out with a new Mach 1 so I can give my 03 a garage companion. This is beyond disappointing!
  3. 2020 Mach 1!

Smh, how friggin lame can you get.
  4. 2020 Mach 1!

You gotta be effing kidding me Ford!! Are you purposely trying to lose more market share? Cuz I'm one more recall on my 14K mile 2014 F150 away from dumping your asses for good! Go ahead, make me share the name of my special edition mustang with a g@ddamn SUV. I double dog dare you!
  5. Trending on /r/cars: 2019 Shelby GT500 to receive Ford's new N/A 7.0L V8 w/ DI

Makes sense. All this talk about SC 5.2's and N/A 7 Liters, sometimes I forget that we still have to deal with the eco nazi's killing all our fun. I'm just glad we still have the aftermarket to do what Ford can't legally do.
  6. Trending on /r/cars: 2019 Shelby GT500 to receive Ford's new N/A 7.0L V8 w/ DI

Yup, Ford took a step in the right direction with the 15's. As much hp as the truck is down in comparison to the Mustang, I would've liked to have seen torque gains in the lower rpms and not just the midrange. Sadly us 11-14 owners got basically the same intake as the GT minus the silver color...

It's just a tune on an otherwise stock truck with just a CAI. All runs done on 93 octane. http://www.morepowertuning.com/2015-f150-5.0-tune-descriptions That's a lot of power (and torque) left on the table.
  8. Trending on /r/cars: 2019 Shelby GT500 to receive Ford's new N/A 7.0L V8 w/ DI

Look at the before and after HP curves. Look at how the stock tune even on 93 octane falls flat on it's face after 5700 rpm. Nope, no handicapping of the 5.0 truck engine to sell more ecoboosts right?! Anyway sorry to go off topic, just had to help set the record straight on Ford's...
  9. Trending on /r/cars: 2019 Shelby GT500 to receive Ford's new N/A 7.0L V8 w/ DI

Does the Coyote truck engine have the torque that the ecoboost 3.5 has? Nope, but the Coyote in the F-150 is also severely handicapped by lower compression, tamer cams, a shit tune and a lower redline than it's mustang counterpart, yet surprisingly kept the same intake manifold. Why no intake...
  10. 2019 GT500 Caught Benchmarking Porsche 911 GT3

Yeah this could explain why it's taking so long and would definitely tick the box for coolness factor. That could explain the fresh air inlets on the fenders above the wheels. As WilliamWally said a couple of pages down it's already being tested on Ford vehicles. :thumbsup...
  11. 2019 GT500 Caught Benchmarking Porsche 911 GT3

 Sounds like the makings for a great weekend of fun! If you hit up the three sisters area, if you can, I suggest taking Hwy 16 from Kerrville to Bandera. I stumbled across that stretch of bliss by accident when I forgot to turn left onto 173 leaving Kerrville on my way south through...
  12. 2019 GT500 Caught Benchmarking Porsche 911 GT3

This! Plus an added benefit is they can drive 30 miles north to Leakey and hit up the Three Sisters (AKA: The Twisted Sisters) for some corner carving!
  13. Rendering 19MY Mach 1

Fender lip?? Perhaps you meant wheel lip/dish as that's why I'm talking about. Anyway as for wheels with lip/no lip, we'll just have to agree to disagree. To me it just screams FWD wheel design. Some manufacturers put a rather substantial concave shape to the spokes and that looks pretty bad...
  14. Rendering 19MY Mach 1

I agree but the same can be said for the current vehicle lineups. Manufacturers using the same front end design spanning across an entire companies lineup comes to mind. All these cars like current Lexus/Toyota lineup with blacked out or wide mouth center grill sections, plus Juke, Cube, etc ...
  15. Rendering 19MY Mach 1

Needs a lip on the rear wheels. Back in the 80's and 90's these flush wheel designs with no lip were reserved for FWD commuter cars. Why the current trend is to make wheels for RWD cars with no lip is beyond me. Looks blah. The lip provides depth to the wheel design and makes the car look...
  16. 2019 GT500 Mustang New Spy Video, Pics, Info

Yeah at least the aftermarket came through. Sucks that Ford keeps coming out with awesome ideas/concepts and just fails to put them to production. The FR500 dual inlet concept intake manifold and the E85 system on the Super Stallion come to mind.
  17. 2019 GT500 Mustang New Spy Video, Pics, Info

Ford should've actually used their patented SuperCooler design that was seen in the 2004 Ford Lightning Concept. Sucks that Dodge put it to market on the Demon first. http://www.blueovaltrucks.com/resources/2004_lightning_concept.htm
  18. Are we getting a GT500 or Not

Holy Shit that's flying!!! :eyebulge: Yeah Ford better bring it in spades cuz that's gonna be a tough number to beat!
  19. Are we getting a GT500 or Not

You clearly haven't been to Texas. Single cabs are all the rage down here especially in South Texas. Vortec Max swapped and H/C/N 5.3 single cabs, cammed single cab Hemi RT's, single cab SRT-10's and then there's me with my 2014 single cab 5.0 STX sport. It was one of only two Blue Flame...
