  1. Mt82-d4 nibble right off dealer lot?

MT82 has lots of problems, especially cold shifting, both the early ones and the newer ones with the strange ratios. They changed ratios but didn't seem to address the more important problems. Try some different fluid, I found the BG stuff smoothed out a lot of those problems. Some folks...
  2. Would you change you mind if you could reverse your Mustang Purchase?

Haven't regretted it and as long as I'm alive it's going to be in my possession. Only thing I should have done is load it up with driveline coolers the second I bought it, that's it's greatest failing as a track day car.
  3. To PP1 or not to PP1?

The PP wheels are heavy AF, they'd be better on the truck than the 'stang IMHO. Those wheels are a travesty, just about anybody's flow formed wheels are better.
  4. S550 may be eliminated sooner rather then later...

Whole thing makes no difference to me, I'm keeping this car until I'm pushing daisies. The thing is just too damn much fun to sell. I'll likely end up in an ecar daily driver some day, but this gasser isn't going anywhere while I'm still around.
  5. Rotors&Pads vs Brembo upgrade

What are you going to do with the car? If it's just autox or similar then the stock ones might be OK. If it's track days you really need the 6 piston Brembos and racing pads and cooling. IMHO, the hyper expensive 2 piece rotors and racing calipers are not worth the money for track days...
  6. Roaring noise coming from right rear tire area

I've never seen an alignment guy that will "check" the alignment. They spend the same amount of time setting up the car either way, so the cost is largely the same. Besides, most adjustments are relatively quick and easy, that is unless you've been monkeying with your suspension with...
  7. Lost oil pressure after braking at 0.9g and turning right at 1.1g. 2018 GT PP1.

I thought I had no oil pressure issues until I went to 100 TW tires and the g's were getting up to 1.6 on my data. On a hunch I had my gf ride with me and watch the gauge continuously, I was getting drops to 25 psi in a particular right hand corner. That's not good, maybe not instant motor...
  8. DSPerformance ?

Lots of good places to buy from in Ontario, I see no reason to send more money to Quebec than the federal government does on our behalf already. Places like JRP in Mississauga and DaSilva Racing in Pickering are good people, do good work, sell at good prices, put on track days and generally...
  9. Good, cheap, user friendly, Track app

Track Addict/Race Render for me, works very well on a good quality cell phone. I tried Harry's, it was nowhere near as easy to use and understand as TA/RR, rather flaky actually.
  10. Would you change you mind if you could reverse your Mustang Purchase?

If I had to do it over I would probably get a Camaro SS 1LE. I only use it as a track car and for that purpose the Camaro is better equipped to handle the abuse with all the coolers they have. Plus that frickin' tiny LS motor set way back and down low does a lot for the handling. The...
  11. What acceleration, braking, and lateral Gs have you recorded?

100 Treadwear tires, track car but still street legal (sort of).
  12. How much money have you spent on your Mustang?

I don't count it, but it'd be a pretty good pile, running out of room for the parts I've replaced. I just buy what I want and hope it brings the lap times down a bit more.
  13. I don't know where this goes...

Nobody cares. This whole thread was just an exercise in graphics 101 and how to get some belly laughs.
  14. How many mustangs have you owned?

    1. This is my first and it will likely be my last. Made it into a great track car, see no reason why I would unload it. It does a wonderful job of humbling most 'vettes and exotics now. If I crash it then that's that. Or not. Maybe then I'd get #2 and start over? Never say never.
  15. Steeda Strut Cutting Tool

Ah, Vorshlag has been selling one for several years now. This ain't news.
  16. BMR Suspension bad experience!

My aluminum jack has a rubber pad in the jacking disc and with my big steel jack I put a piece of 2X4 soft pine about 5" long in there. Both of them work equally well, pinch weld is nicely supported and cradled.
  17. Are you kidding me??? Cooling Post

Automatics on a road course. Big heat. Bad idea. Have fun with that.
  18. Another Black Eye for the Mustang Community

I cringe whenever I hear/see people talking/posting about "spirited driving". The only place for spirited driving is the track.
  19. Angry Neighbor Uses Expanding Foam To Silence Mustang GT's Exhaust

I'm surprised shti like this doesn't happen more often. Especially to Harleys.
  20. The Beginning of Cooling Issues

Is that where they told you to put it? Oh right, you don't read instructions. My RL unit is 2" behind the back of the radiator, per their very explicit instructions. The high pressure area is right behind the rad, you want it up there to get that air out as soon as it exits the rad. You're not...
