  1. chazcron's 2015 Mustang 3D renders and 'shops

It seems that the features that are a 'must-have' are designs from the Mustang that they (person making said comment) specifically are most familiar with. It can be said that since the 05-14 (even more so 11-14) draw intensely off of the first gen, that these two generations have the highest...
  2. C7 Corvette Stingray Convertible or Coupe?

I guess we wouldn't understand :) I actually love the new vette from all views that are not head on (the grill is not pleasing to my eye) and do not include the rear. That huge rectangle needs to go. Or at least be body color.
  3. Voodoo Theory

There will only be an answer to the Z28 if it itself is a worthwhile vehicle. See thePill for info on this debacle. A twin turbo 5.2 has been a circulating rumor since 2011. longevity like that only means one thing. And the SVT Cobra is currently a 5.8, its also a Shelby. Ford Mustang...
  4. Voodoo Theory

On a nearly 10 year old chassis. The boss/500 ran in different segments and if the 350/500 were to do the same it could possible, but unlikely. Ford will most likely stagger the se's.
  5. Voodoo Theory

I would love to see that, a direct competitor for the zl1 and z28. But ford has tons of bean counters, I wonder if they would put forth two SE cars. The trinity is already here so for it to make a hiatus while the voodoo comes out would be wrong in many ways, and the 550 wont need two SEs to...
  6. Voodoo Theory

A few months ago rumor mill near me said the new halo car is going to be n/a (or the modern n/a). The 5.8 isn't designed for non boost applications, the head design flows too much air. So unless things have changed or the grapevine was wrong. I don't think we will see the 5.8 in any factory Mustang.
  7. Voodoo Theory

It is also interesting if the trinity stays around. Ive no clue what they will use it for if not the mustang. Its not designed for na applications and the 5.2 is the new niche motor. I cant see this being just for motors they will store fot crate/warranty. The volume isn't right.
  8. Voodoo Theory

There is a 5.2 coyote. Thats why this flat plane discussion is so interesting.
  9. New 2.3 EcoBoost introduced today

Romeo has three lines and produces near 4 engines. You were correct with the 4.6 and the niche line's 5.8. There's also both applications of 6.2 (Raptor and Super Duty), and they run the 5.0. It gets machined then shipped to Windsor for assembly. Much of the 4.6 production is currently for...
  10. Voodoo Theory

    Thats beyond my knowledge..
  11. Voodoo Theory

Well, the niche line that builds (currently) the trinity is preparing for a switch to the voodoo soon. Its under debate if its going to be all 5.2 or if they will rotate between the two engines. That hints a few things to me. The 5.2 is near production, would make it a crossplane from what we...
  12. Voodoo Theory

There's a flat plane LS motor. I think lingenfelter makes it. Never was OEM production. Just a little bit of info.
  13. Voodoo Theory

The Voodoo is based off of the Coyote. Are you asking if the flat plane engine is based off of the coyote? As far as we know, there isn't a flat plane in development, coyote based or not. Let alone in testing. If a flat plane is coming, there are less people who know than you can count on...
  14. Voodoo Theory

There won't be a flat plane. There are numerous reasons why not to use a flat plane. But the bigger thing to consider is there is no valid reason to use one at all. The coyote is a magnificent engine, and with the updated top end and a little more displacement, I'm sure you will be more...
  15. Voodoo Theory

Cross plane voodoo, not that cross plane needs to be mentioned, is in physical form as we speak. A flat plane voodoo, if exists, exists solely on paper, or it is not a true ford motor and is being tested outside of any ford operated owned or related facility. What I meam by not true ford motor...
  16. 2015 Mustang engine lineup according to "insider"

Seems like a dumb choice, it looks like there is a large piece of us future buyers who are looking at owning the turbo 4. With all the hype its gotten already, delaying it any more than the othet models seems like a bad choice. But im no bean counter, maybe its more profitable that way.
  17. New 2.3 EcoBoost introduced today

So far we know the MKC and Mustang will recieve the 2.3, and the euro focus RS will as well. The RS in the US market is currently unknown to those not high up the chain. So maybe they are waiting to see where this engine will see its most usage before they begin massing it at a plant as a stable...
