  1. Still happy you bought a 10 sp auto?

I disagree on the paddle shifters. They are slow even near red-line.
  2. How to adjust volume for parking aid warning buzzer (reversing)

Considering that it allows you to just turn the park aid off altogether, yes, I would expect the ability to edit the volume. Of course, I doubt that you actually can.
  3. Still happy you bought a 10 sp auto?

I've put 2000 miles on my new 2018 GT PP1 A10, and the transmission is still my least favorite part of the vehicle by far. There were times at the beginning where I liked the A10 because it is a pretty effective platform when you give the gas pedal what it wants and learn to ignore the frequent...
  4. '18/'19 GT non-pp manual owners-chime in please

I am also coming from a 2016 GTI. The GTI is far more nimble and practical, but the mustang is a lot more fun. The tune on a GTI was fun, but it really can't put all the power to the road with the FWD and small tires. Wheel hop was atrocious as well. The DSG is way more fun and responsive than...
  5. Drag modes worth it?

If you want to buy a 2018 Auto, I don't think you will be well-served by waiting much longer. Most of the smaller dealerships are out of them, or only have one or two. The large dealerships with more inventory than expected (car sales way down this year) are offering large discounts below...
  6. Buying New 2018 GT PP1 - Seasonal Wheel/Tire Questions

I had a deal setup for a new 2018 GT non-PP 301A, but am now considering between spending an extra $1900 or so to get the PP1 301A (I lose NAV, security package, and mini-spare in that exchange as well, none of which I care too much about) I am leaning towards getting the PP1. It comes with the...
  7. Perceptions of Middle-age Men in Mustangs

I think the middle agers actually have a better shot. Mustangs are even less likely to be perceived as a status symbol for young drivers as far a I can tell, as they are American made. The import luxury brands fill that role.
  8. 18 GT PP Premium Price Check

Yeah, I have only seen one or two anywhere with the magneride. That's going to be a hard search to be sure. Best of luck.
  9. 18 GT PP Premium Price Check

I am getting 20% off MSRP (pre-tax figures, includes doc fee) on a 2018 non-premium GT coupe with the 301A package. MSRP $41.3k, pre-tax price 33.2k. I am traveling a few hours to get it, but well worth it. Koons, Sheehy, and Apple are all running extremely competitive pricing through 01/02/19...
