I did go into this thinking I'd go with the BULLITT, before I drove it. It's a sexy car, it's mostly de-badged (no pony logos) and flies under the radar. It has that classic mustang muscle car exhaust sound. It's also going to be somewhat of a "limited" production, although I am seeing a ton...
^^ That was kind of my understanding of what the BOSS is all about. While I like the idea of owning a true muscle car, I guess, at the end of the day, I'm really lusting for a true sports car, handling wise. I don't necessarily need all the gizmos and creature comforts (except for A/C). And the...
I just rewatched the Everyday Driver video. It had been some time since I last watched it. The ending is really telling for me. The Euro-biased guy who loves Porsches said he loves the GT350 and wants one. Growing up, my idea of a sports car came from what my father owned ('85 911, '97 M3)...
^^ thanks, yeah, Iāve seen that video. Watched the Steeda Bullitt tune video too.
Honestly, Iāve been doing nothing but watching you tube videos and reading threads for the last few days. Lol.
I too like the DHG paint. I just donāt want to have any regrets on not getting the Shelby. Oxford...
I think Iāll also try and test drive a GT PP2. Sounds like you could add the Shelby plenum and Cold Air intake from Ford Performance (make it similar to a Bullitt). But, at that point, I could probably just get a GT350, which are selling under sticker around here. Gotta drive one of those too.
Got it. Thanks! For some reason, the signatures don't show up when using my cell phone. How much noticeable is the suspension firmness when in Track vs Sport+? I gather that the handling still isn't quite what you are looking for, hence the parts. Really want a car that handles like it's on rails.
Thanks for the detailed response. I appreciate it. My impression of the Bullitt was that it felt like a back road bomber. Great engine sounds, plenty of torque, fast, but it felt very cushy. To me.
Now, I had it in Sport mode, but it didnāt feel nearly as tied together as I would have liked...
Looking for my first mustang. Lots options but.... if you had to settle on just one, and it was a weekend car, which would you pick?
2013 Boss 302 LS very low mileage (Mint).
2019 or 2020 Bullitt
2019 or 2020 GT350
I just recently test drove a Bullitt, but I also found a few low mileage ā13...
Thanks all for the responses. Very helpful. One thing I did decide; I like the sofa seats better than the Recaros in the Bullitt. The recaros are just too tight for me (5ā9ā 190 lbs). Although, I just sat in a 2013 Boss 302 LS and those recaros were wonderful!! Actually, I like that car too...
Hey all, I just joined. I posted in the Bullitt section, but I'm debating between a '19/'20 Bullitt, a new GT350, BMW M2 Comp, or a used 2016 Cayman GT/GTS. Also, I just took a '19 Bullitt today for a test drive. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to learning more about the Mustang.
Hello everyone. I'm new here, and I just took a test drive in a Bullitt for the first time.
What's been the overall consensus with owner satisfaction? I'm considering this or the Shelby GT350, or an M2 Comp. Main reason for the Shelby is the added performance and the Tremec transmission...
