    I think the main issue is most are looking to the 11-14 chassis, as their "pulse" on what the 15+ cars will see. The truth is, this car is entirely different, it's MUCH MUCH heavier....and with the overwhelming majority of these cars being daily driven vehicles...we won't see the weight...

    I'll tell you the 6R80 today, with current available parts, will not be reliable at this level in a heavy 15 chassis. Until more advancement is made, a Powerglide would be a better fit for the drag strip. We haven't made the swap yet, but it's a likely candidate until better internal parts...

    A full long block is more, but yes, it's FAR cheaper than most platforms to build. I have 1/4 the amount of money in our 2015 Mustang GT that I have in our GTR. It's a fantastic bang for the buck if looking to set timeslips on a budget.

    Guys, several of you have asked for forged & sleeved short block pricing. MPR charges $9550 for a short block + ARP Head Studs. They are using the best parts in the business, so the price is reflective. This is a no corners cut, full fledged race engine.

    We will see what the dyno shows and determine how high to spin it. I'm still looking at intake manifold options, nothing is determined there and it will likely be us testing in-house to conform what makes the most power.
