  1. Oil change/ticking

mine started after a 1,000 mile oil change. Then a young lady ( car enthusiast), Mustang lover, told me about it. She said that she heard it from the forum. Tried it and no tick from that point on. The horse has been running tick free. I got 37,000 miles now.

Does yours tick like this on the video? If it does, I got it fixed by using this filter at each oil change. No more problem.

  5. Adjustable Rear Toe Links issue

I am very surprised and shocked that Steeda didn’t catch that a couple of weeks ago when I complained about the noise after they installed the toe links. To them , it was the toe links that didn’t have adequate torque so they adjusted it. And again, the noise only started after the toe links...
  6. Adjustable Rear Toe Links issue

I recently took it to Steeda, they checked the end links along with the toe links for proper torque adjustments. But I’ll check the sway bar (Steeda) torque spec. I took a recording earlier today with the active exhaust on quiet mode. Please take a listen.
  7. Adjustable Rear Toe Links issue

No, it’s not a rattle sound! After a 25 minute drive, got home and backing up to the garage I can hear it as the rear wheels go over the 1” high concrete slab, but it doesn’t happen again if I were to drive forward and immediately drive back to the garage.
  8. Adjustable Rear Toe Links issue

Sounds like something that needs to be greased. When I took it back to Steeda for this issue they were able to hear it and figured that the toe links weren’t torqued to spec. After all, the noise is the same as before. Only hear it when slowly backing to the garage.

thanks for the reply! I am the only stick shift driver in my family, but I will give it a try to record the noise. Thanks, again.

  11. Adjustable Rear Toe Links issue

well, that started when the toe links were installed. Never had such noise prior. I can check on the wheel torque, although I torqued them myself at 150.
  12. Adjustable Rear Toe Links issue

Hello to all Mustang fans out here. I have been having a rear end noise issue ever since I got the Steeda adjustable rear toe links installed at their Georgia facility. Took the car back to them and they adjusted the torque because it wasn’t to spec, they said. Took the car home, a day later...
  13. Options for minimum drop springs for GT PP2?

I have a steeda dual rate on mine and i don’t seem to have any issues. It has been about 2 yrs now. As long as you know how to drive it around some driveways and other areas which can cause scraping issues AND you are the only driver you shouldn’t have any problems. I love the dual rate they...
  14. Help me justify a price-short throw shifter

Barton retains the lockout as well. Have been having it on my pp2 for 3yrs now and had it on my 2015 gt premium. It is a great shifter. if you end up buying the Barton, get the trans-mount install for long term benefits.

agree with you here, it’s always easier to blame someone else!
  16. Back to stock from Lund tune

I did a restore Yes, I did the restore file and hit write.
  17. Front end feels different after larger wheels/tires

sorry to hear that. This often happens on my pp2 only on the back local roads. But on the US HWY and State roads it’s a joyful ride. And the grip at a dig compare to normal tire sizes is the best. When I first drove the car I thought I had an alignment issue, took it back to the dealer for an...
